As time passed, my relationship with Seungcheol grew closer. The days spent together in the soop made a significant difference, allowing us to spend every moment in each other's company. It felt as though we were living together, sharing a deeper connection.
On the night of our ninth day, we gathered around the campfire, in the cool evening air. Bundled in blankets and fluffy coats, we were warm and cozy. Joshua played his guitar, and the boys sang a soft cover of "Circles," one of my favorite songs. I recorded the moment on my phone, wanting to preserve this precious memory forever.
"Thank you, boys. That was amazing," I said softly after they finished.
"This song is really magical," Sophia added, resting her head on Joshua's shoulder.
I sat next to S.Coups, sharing a blanket. As I took in the adorable scene, I turned to find him already looking at me, a smile playing on his lips.
"We are so proud of this song. It really conveys a lot of emotions," Seungcheol said, and the boys nodded in agreement.
The rest continued talking about their things, when Coups got closer to me.
"What do you think of going for a walk?" Seungcheol whispered in my ear, his voice meant only for me. I smiled, unable to resist his charm.
"Sure. Let's go," I replied happily.
"Hey guys, Lia and I are going for a walk. Don't mind us," Seungcheol announced, standing up and drawing the others' attention.
"Okay, just remember, hyung, we don't want to be uncles yet," Seungkwan quipped, earning laughter from the group. Seungcheol and I blushed, embarrassed by the teasing.
"Yah! Just shut up," he said, clearly flustered by the younger's comment.
Seungcheol took my hand and led me away from the group. We walked in silence for a couple of minutes along a dimly lit path. If I hadn't been with him, I would have been terrified to walk there alone at night.
"Where are we going, Coups?" I asked, curiosity piqued. He smiled without looking at me.
"It's a surprise," he answered enigmatically.
"Alright..." I said, my curiosity growing.
After a few more minutes, we arrived at a small building resembling an old Korean hanok. It was beautiful.
"Surprise!" Seungcheol exclaimed, spreading his arms wide to present the place. He looked so cute.
"Wow, it's beautiful," I said, marveling at the sight. "Did you prepare this?" I asked as we entered the hanok.
Inside, there was only a bed, adorned with decorations and soft lighting. The ceiling could be opened, allowing us to gaze at the stars while lying in bed. It was a dream setting for a romantic date.
"I wanted to do something meaningful for you. You told me you prefer heartfelt surprises over materialistic ones, so I thought it would be nice to spend the night here together," he explained shyly. I was touched.
"Are we going to spend the night here? Both of us?" I asked, still processing the surprise.
"Yeah, if you want to," he replied nervously.
I stepped closer, wrapping my arms around his neck in a hug. He encircled my waist with his arms.
"I would love to spend the night here with you," I said. His face lit up with a smile, and in less than a second, he kissed me.
After breaking the kiss, he eagerly showed me the little details he had prepared inside. I smiled at his excitement, finding it endearing.
Once he finished explaining the snacks and games he had brought, we settled on the bed facing the open ceiling. The soft lights were dim enough to see each other without disturbing the darkness. The sky was clear, and the stars shone brightly. It was a magical view, perfect for the night we were about to share.
"What are you thinking about?" Seungcheol asked after we had spent several minutes in silence, gazing at the stars. I turned to face him, finding him propped on his arm, watching me intently.
"No one has ever surprised me like you just did." His face registered mild surprise. I wanted him to understand the depth of my gratitude. "It's the first time I've been speechless from a present. You make me feel so loved, Seungcheol," I said softly, my voice barely above a whisper.
"I want to make you feel special because, to me, you are the most special. I want to love you, Lia," he replied, his words brimming with sincerity.
Slowly, he leaned closer and gently cradled my head in his hands, pulling me in for a kiss. This man had my entire heart. The bond we shared was profound, beyond our understanding. I needed him, and he needed me.
The kiss started soft and tender, conveying the depth of his feelings. But soon, it grew more intense, our primal instincts taking over. My body burned with desire for his touch. I knew where this was heading if I didn't stop it now. But should I? Was it too soon? What would he think of me if I gave in so quickly?
The thought made me pull back. "Seungcheol, wait," I said, breaking the kiss, my breath still coming in short gasps.
"What's wrong? Did I do something wrong?" he asked, concern etched on his face.
"No, it's just... I don't want you to think badly of me if this happens tonight," I confessed, feeling shy and vulnerable.
"Are you serious? I could never think badly of you for anything you do." He lifted my chin gently. "Lia... I love you." His unexpected confession left me stunned. Choi Seungcheol loved me? I could hardly believe it.
"Are you serious?" I asked, tears welling up in my eyes. He laughed softly.
"It's funny you asked the same question I did. But yes, I love you. I think I've known it since the day I saw you at our stadium concert." He wiped a tear from my cheek. "It has always been you." His eyes glistened with unshed tears.
"I love you too," I whispered. How could I not? I was utterly in love with this man and would give him everything.
His shocked expression turned into a radiant smile, and he kissed me again, this time with more passion. Our bodies melded together, the desire undeniable. There were no doubts left; we needed each other.
In a blink, we found ourselves naked under the covers, no longer shy. "You are so beautiful. I knew you would be, but you exceeded my expectations," he murmured, his gaze filled with admiration.
Wrapped in a mix of lust and love, we shared our most precious moment.
The next morning, I awoke to the sight of a clear blue sky through the open ceiling. I smiled, recalling we had forgotten to close it. I turned to see Seungcheol still sleeping beside me, the covers only partially concealing his tattooed back. His hair was a tousled mess, yet he looked irresistibly sexy. We had made love last night, and it had been perfect. I made a little inner scream of joy. He was so gentle, so kind in every way.
I reached for my phone to check the time. 7:45 a.m. It was too early to wake him. I lay back down, trying to get a bit more sleep, but a thought crossed my mind: the boys and the girls would surely know what we had done. I felt a wave of nervousness and embarrassment but tried to calm myself.
An hour later, I still couldn't relax. I turned to see Seungcheol still fast asleep, and I laughed softly. How could he sleep so much? He looked adorable and sexy at the same time. This was my man. I bit my lip, feeling the warmth of desire return.
"If you don't stop biting your lip, I will kiss you," his voice startled me. I laughed.
"You scared me. I thought you were still asleep," I replied.
He raised himself and hovered over me, then kissed me softly and passionately. I broke the kiss, laughing.
"How can you be so active in the mornings?" I asked, amused. His head rested on my neck, his breath warm against my skin.
"I can be even more active..." he teased.
"Yah! Stop!" I said, laughing and feeling shy.
He lifted his head, his eyes meeting mine. He laughed at my flushed face.
"I love you," he said again. I loved hearing those words.
"I love you too." We both smiled like fools, lost in our happiness.
