📍los angeles, californiaGETTING off of her flight and entering the expansive airport that is LAX, willow didn't even have to search for vivienne because the girl who had stayed on the west coast had came barreling towards her as soon as the gate opened.
vivienne pulled lightly on willow's shoulder and guided her towards the baggage claim, aggressively whispering to her on the way, "do you find oscar cute? please tell me you do! you haven't answered any of my texts about him since yesterday morning and after the last thing you did send i've been confused."
all willow could do was laugh at her best friend's intense interest in her opinion of the racer, "he's not bad to look at, but i don't even know him."
a pleasant smile appeared on vivienne's face, remembering who else had been in on one of their earlier conversations.
"soooo," she dragged out the word, "has gina mentioned oscar at all?" vivienne spoke the second half of her sentence quite fast, trying to get out the possible pain of the answer.
willow interrupted her thoughts, "first of all, no she hasn't - although she's been a bit quiet since we last talked about him which is weird. and second, if she does bring him up i better not hear, 'it'd be good publicity willow'." she pitched her voice a bit higher when she mimicked her friend.
the two of them laughed, each having their own idea of how gina would bring up oscar in the next conversation if she were to bring him up. while they waited for willow's suitcase to come around the carousel, the singer kind of wanted her friends to bring him up again. he, in all honesty, was attractive in willow's eyes and she wanted to talk to him more - but knows her friends to be the kind of people who would say "told you so" if willow and oscar were to one day become something.
it was a small step, letting vivienne and gina know she liked how the australian driver looked - but a crucial one at that.
