it was an overwhelming feeling of gratitude and appreciation when, upon exiting the haneda airport, the four women were calmly greeted by many japanese fans. there were roughly 20 of them, all patiently watching as each one before them got to talk to willow, take photos with her, and have her sign a few of their albums.
some fans even followed gina, vivienne, and bethany on social media and wanted photos with them too, setting the group's first moments in the city to be some of their most memorable.
what one fan said in particular stayed on willow's mind when she had asked the group if they were going to attend any of the concerts on the weekend.
"i'm going to the formula one race and then to the concert after! i'm getting to see my favourite driver and my favourite artist in the same day!"
willow had then asked who her favourite driver was to keep the conversation going, getting the aussie driver from her comment section as a reply.
yes, willow knew people thought of her and the boy together from her private account. all of the posts and comments she saw were relatively positive and she couldn't help but have those kinds of thoughts made on her own.
she tried not thinking about them. it was hard not to when you were surrounded by mentions of him everywhere you went; billboards on the side of roads, her best friend teaching them about f1, and her own subconscious thoughts being flooded by thousands of possibilities.
