I just want to let you guys know we're starting to get to the themes that really counted for the mature tag. I normally don't do warnings after the initial one but here's your last.

Zelda's Perspective

"You let him in your house?"

I nod without looking up from the notes I'm trying to study from. I smile thinking about last night and the rules I broke. Father didn't even suspect it.

Impa makes some other exasperated noise from her desk, trying to keep quiet. I'd told her first thing this morning and she still can't believe it—not even now when we're supposed to be studying for finals.

None of us seem to be following instructions anyway with Revali glowering at the back of Mipha's head almost like he's trying to get her attention without saying a word. It's frustrating to watch. It'd be as easy as tapping her shoulder and asking her to Urbosa's after school.

A glance at Groose next and I see the small pile of folded birds that used to be his notes. Every year he asks for mine anyway to get through finals. It's only a matter of time.

"Did you kiss yet?" Impa whispers.

"I told you we didn't." I erase my name at the top of my paper and rewrite it correctly. The faint, shadowed letters that spell 'Farore' peek out from where I wrote 'Hyrule.' Zelda Hyrule when I put Zelda Farore in my head until I fell asleep last night.

Letting curiosity get the better of me, I erase my last name and write 'Skyloft' as lightly as I can. I guess it doesn't seem like the worst name I might have ended up with.

I turn my head slowly and watch Groose do the same in my direction. His lips spread into a stupid smile and he runs his fingers through his hair in a way that seems much too forced.

Suddenly, Zel Skyloft sounds like a disease I'll catch if I don't end up with Farore.

In my rush to erase his name, I rip the top of my paper. Of course that would happen.

I get a new sheet of paper and begin to copy my notes just as Impa leans towards me again and whispers, "Are you ever going to kiss him?"

"Only if he kisses me first." There's no way I'll be the first one to lean in. Just flirting with him is hard. He's too good at turning it around and making me the hiccuping mess.

"If you don't kiss him soon, I might."

"Impa!"

"Maybe he'll let me drive his car if I do."

"I doubt it." I glance at Mipha to make sure she didn't hear. She keeps doodling and I go back to copying my notes but all that comes to mind is when she told him she wanted to catch up. It sounded like a date. He would tell me if she asked him on a date, wouldn't he?

Revali needs to woo her, I think to myself. It'd solve all our problems.

How can she not be interested in him after all this time of being around him? Unless it's that attitude of his, Revali is tall and handsome and he's sweet once you look past his grumpy shell. All he has to do is ask her on a date. It can't be that hard; Groose does it all the time.

I rip a corner off a piece of paper and write a quick note. She's just drawing. Ask her on a date!

Nudging his leg with my foot, I hand him the note when our teacher isn't looking. She'll make us read them out loud if she sees us passing notes.
