Eliza's POV:
"Hey hunny."
"Hi, dad, when are you coming home again?"
"Well...you're mother and I thought that this business trip was going to last a week. But it turned into about two weeks. I hope you can handle it."
"I can."
"Alrighty, be sure to lock the doors at night and don't throw any parties."
"Bye dad, love you."
"Love you-"
"HEY MR. HAYES!" Scarlett suddenly snatched the phone out of my hands and giggled like a school girl about to expose a secret. "Your one of a kind daughter has just met the hottest boy in town, get your shotgun!"
Oh god, kill me now.
Seriously, I don't understand how Scarlett can be so dumb sometimes.
Oh, right, she's blonde. Hehe.
"Give me that!" I grabbed the phone from Scarlett's hands and quickly put the screen to my lips. "I'm sorry! Scar was just kidding."
"Who's the new boy?" My father asked smugly.
"Just a guy who I sit next to in Bio." I replied, slowly biting my nails.
"I want a name Liz."
Meh.
"Okay, it's Aaron."
"Last name?"
"Aaron Carrington." My dad didn't reply for a couple of moments, and when he did, I didn't like the sound of the words that were forming on his lips.
"Stay away from him Eliza," my dad commanded.
"Dad, he's just some guy from sch-"
"No," he breathed. "Listen to me. Stay away from him, ok? And if I find out that you two have been hanging out, then there is seriously going to be some grounding, alright?"
I groaned.
"Ok, dad."
"Ok, bye, love you."
And with that he hung up.
I shot daggers at Scarlett who looked at me innocently.
"What?" She shyly asked.
Aaron's POV:
"And the hero returns!" Daniel greeted me at the door of out house, staring up at me with unamused green eyes.
Daniel and I are brothers. He is about a year older than me, but incredibly annoying and evil, like an older brother should be. Daniel was not supposed to come with me on my expidition, but he did anyways and now he's annoying me every chance he gets. Daniel sometimes acts like the innocent one, but in reality, he's just as kind as a hungry lion.
"Don't talk to me," I muttered, stepping inside of the house and plopping down on the couch. We had recently moved here about a week ago, yet we brought nothing with us. I didn't think that it was reasonable to move everything from our home in Manchester, just so we could spend a few days watching my assignment. "I'm not in the mood." My headache was killing me, yet it didn't change the amazing feeling I felt due to meeting Eliza.
"Did you meet Eliza?" Daniel sat down on the chair opposite to me, leaning on his knees with his elbows. "Was she as hot as the picture?"
When Will gave me the assignment, he gave me a photo of Eliza to show what girl I was looking for in my classes. However, the picture doesn't do her justice. She was beautiful, and the picture didn't capture the energy and life in her eyes. It also didn't capture the fire that roams deep inside of her, ready to explode.
