"Eliza, slow down!" Scarlett clutched her chest with her hand, looking at me with a shocked yet excited expression. "You're going to get us killed! I won't live to see my wedding, the prom, finally getting my first car! Eliza, come on!" She grabbing the dashboard in front of her and bit her lower lip, eyes blazing from how fast we were going.

Consider me a daredevil, but never assume that I'm a bad driver. You see, I believe in the saying, 'No cop, no stop.' If you don't see a sketchy car on the side of the road with a man holding a speed radar, then you can cruse by as fast as you please. I wasn't trying to get us killed; I was merely using the power of my jeep to get to school on time. If Scarlett hadn't spent so much time in the bathroom doing god only knows in there, then we wouldn't be in this situation. So picture me, driving at least forty miles an hour down the busiest street in Pine Creek, hoping that there is an open parking spot. If I don't get one, then a house nearby the school will suddenly have an anonymous jeep in their driveway.

"Scar, you're distracting me! The passenger should always keep silent!" I laughed, making a sharp turn right causing Scarlett to let out a painful shriek. "See! You almost made me hit that truck!"

"There is no truck!" She retorted, pointing to the road ahead of us that was now empty. "You're just imagining things!"

"I'm not that crazy!" I smirked, tapping my finger on the steering wheel against the beat of the music. This was my jam!

"Do you see how you're driving, you're anything but sane!" Scarlett's blonde hair flew in front of her face like a curtain as I pulled into the back street that connected to the parking lot. I bit my lower lip in anticipation to get a spot even though it was ten minutes until the bell rang.

Come on, come on, come on!

Fine, I'll admit it, I had some serious road-rage.

Heavenly Father, I have sinned on this day for driving awesomely.

Amen.

"Ah! An open spot!" Scarlett yelped, pointing towards an open spot on the far side of the parking lot.

Hell ya!

Suddenly, another car drove up on the other side of the spot. But it wasn't just another car, it was his car. His beautiful black hummer that always seems to be in my way. If he thinks that he's going to get this spot, then he's wrong. I could see his full of head of blonde hair through the tinted windows, his ocean blue eyes shining with a hint of amusement in them. He knows better than to question me taking a spot from him! I hereby claim this spot as Eliza's Territory, nobody shall set foot upon this land.

"Darling!" Aaron called teasingly, almost like warning me not to take the spot. "You got this parking space when I first got here, why not take a breather and let me do the honors?" I could hear him chuckle. Ok, just because we were sort of turning into friends, that doesn't give him the right to take something away from me.

"Never!"

"Eliz-"

But it was too late.

I stepped on the gas and began pulling into the spot--and just to show off, I pulled in backwards, so I could see Aaron's shocked expression. That's right boy! A girl just took your parking space for the second time! What now!

"Oh come on!" I heard Aaron yell, making me laugh.

"Better hurry, the bell rings in about five minutes," I called when I slammed my car door shut, turning to his car. "Word of advice: get here early so you won't have to deal with me." I smiled brightly before linking arms with Scarlett and entering the school.
