Eliza's POV:

"Dude, I swear that I saw Chester Mannings running away laughing like a maniac last night!" I tried to suppress a cackle as Caleb made stupid attempts in finding out who egged his house last night. Why would he blame Chester? They have been very close friends since middle school and now he was accusing him of a crime he didn't commit? Talk about a strong friendship. "It could have only been him! Nobody on our team throws that hard and that accurate!"

Thank you, thank you. I mentally bowed and thanked my audience before turning my attention back to Scarlett. She was cackling and holding her hand over her mouth to keep her from laughing and them hearing us. We were leaning on the lockers right beside their little meeting.

"What a dummy," Scarlett snickered, earning a smile from me.

"Maybe we should go and tell him it was us," I suggested, leaning away from the lockers and looking at the giant heap in the middle of the hallway.

"What, no!" Scarlett grasped my arm and pulls slightly, "the cheer squad will kill us without thinking, the football team will be too stunned to do anything and we will be shunned for the rest of our lives."

Way to be dramatic, Scar.

Grr.... Curse the need for an amazing reputation at this school. Must teenagers always desire to be the popular and loved ones? I hated to admit that what Scarlett spoke was the truth and it will always be of this school.

"Fine, but only because I love you," I smirked, earning myself a chuck from Scarlett.

"Emagawd!" The only thing more annoying that a car alarm beeping off in the middle of the night is It's squeal. "Did anyone of you see that sex god walk in this morning? I swear that he looked right at me!" It and her clones walked down the hallways, perfume and all before they continued to fan girl.

"I hear his eyes are the color of the ocean," one girl sighed, tilting her head to the side and looking up at the ceiling.

I let out a long laugh.

"Let's get to class," I heard Scarlett suggest and I closed my locker, a groan escaping my lips.

I had AP Biology next. I love science, but when you spend another semester reliving the horrid memories of Ms. Johns and her horrible lecturing, science became my least favorite subject. Women above the age of eighty should not teach any subject for that matter.

"All right!" Ms. Johns yelled as soon as I entered the classroom, "I want everyone to stand over there as I assign you to your correct seat. These lab partners will work with you for the rest of the semester! No complaints!"

Great...a new seating chart.

Note the sarcasm.

"Ok, we have Mr. McCully with Ms. Andrews, Ms. Berry with Ms. Jennings, " Ms. Johns began to name off names for the lab stations, and eventually she got to one that was in the middle of the row and , second to last table. "Ms. Hayes-" Ms. Johns continued and I weaved my way through to sit in my correct seat, "-and Mr. Carrington." I didn't recognize the name, maybe he's new to this school.

I looked when the stool next to me squeaked to lock stares with a familiar pair of crystal blue eyes.

Shit. It was the guy from the parking lot.

Oh. He just had to be my lab partner.

"Well," the boy began, "it's nice to finally meet you when you're not yelling at me for a parking spot." His smirk on his face made me want to smack it off.

I gritted my teeth, "that spot was rite fully mine," I snapped, opening my notebook to a fresh sheet. "And if you're not used to people at your old school fighting over for parking spots then welcome to Pine Creek high school." I gave him my signature smile before focusing my attention on the board.
