Pandemic - Flashback

Love's POV

"Love, I need to go to the lab to help with the virus spread happening right now. Are you going to be okay to wait for me, I won't take long..." Milk said to me with her worried face. I know she is always worried when she needs to go during this pandemic but I know they need her and I will always support her.

"It's okay Milk, I will be fine. Please go and I'll wait for you at home okay? I will cook nice food once you're home so we can eat together ok?" I reassured her so that Milk wouldn't be worried that much. I know she is a lovely fiance who always worries about me. Yes, we are engaged and wanted to get married soon but the pandemic happened.

I was doing nothing at home other than watching the television about the latest news. My shop, twenty wendy needs to be on pause as the pandemic happened and it is not a fun thing to experience. I was looking outside at how dangerous the city can be. I heard the virus will take over your brain functionalities and you might be a zombie.

A sudden knock at the door makes me startle.

"That is fast? It is only 2 hours and Milk is done?" I thought by myself and went to the door and open it.

"Milk! You're fast!..."I was surprised when a group of men in army suites came right in front of me.

"Maam, we need to evacuate, your building has been affected by the virus, we are moving you out now..." They straight get on hold of my arm and dragged me out.

"Wait, I need to call my Fiance, she must be worried..." I asked them to let me go but they were too strong for me. I was dragged away without any chance to grab my phone.

I was placed in a very weird place where most of us from the same building were placed. It was quiet without any form of communication. Most of us cannot contact our family members. I was one of them, I can't contact my family and also Milk. I am very anxious, I can't think straight at all. What should I do?

Days become months and there is no Milk. I was crying every day wanting to know if she was okay or not. I got to know that the virus got into one of the residences in the apartment where we stayed and it attacked fast. He became a full-turned zombie after a few hours. It attacked a couple of other residents hence we are moved here.

I tried talking to a couple of people here about how to get communication but no one knows.

"I need to get out of here, Milk must be worried about me and I have no idea where I am!" I was talking by myself and was ready to try and break out from this place. I tried a couple of times but got caught and brought back in. I wonder why they even keep us here. I saw some of the people here go missing and I wonder if something else happened or they just escaped.

I was about to try again tonight when suddenly one of the soldiers came in shouting.

"Evacuate!! Evacuate nowww!! We are being attacked!! Arghhhhhhhhh" In front of my eyes, I saw he got bitten by the fully-turned zombies. I was scared and tried to escape but there was no easy way out. Everyone is running in a chaotic direction! I've been avoiding lots of thing trying to get to the door.
