******Jimin's point of view******

We finally made it to Liam's house after what felt like forever in the car even though it's a short distance from his house. Once we arrived, I quickly got out and Tae followed suit a few seconds later. Liam and Ahanu showed up a little while after us, and we all gathered on Liam's porch where Rachel, Liam's stepmom, was already anxiously pacing around waiting for us. When she saw us, she let out a relieved sigh.

"Omg, Liam, how could you be so reckless? You didn't even tell me about the incidents that happened in Ranch. I only found out through Jimin," Rachel scolded, looking at Liam. Then she turned to me, "And Jimin, you should be more careful too. You two are reckless. We could have informed the local sheriff, and he would have taken care of this."

Liam jumped in, "Rachel, let's go inside. We're really tired," he said, rubbing his forehead in frustration.

Rachel softened, "Oh, sorry. I'm just so worried about you guys. Please, come inside. Sorry for my rant."

Tae timidity followed me as we entered the house, and I couldn't help but feel a mix of relief and exhaustion. It had been quite the journey to get here, with unexpected incidents and twists along the way. Rachel's concern was touching, despite her initial scolding.

As we stepped inside, the familiar scent of Liam's house enveloped us, bringing a sense of comfort and safety. The living room looked cozy, with a warm fire crackling in the fireplace. Liam gestured for us to take a seat, and we all gathered around, letting out simultaneous sighs of relief.

Rachel still fussing over us like a mother hen. Her worry and care were evident in every little gesture, suddenly, out of the blue, she paused mid-sentence and laid eyes on Taehyung. She couldn't help herself and blurted out, "OMG, who is this handsome young man?" while pointing directly at Tae. Ahanu casually chimed in, "Oh, that's Jimin's best friend, Kim Taehyung. He's also a singer from BTS."

Then Rachel, being her usual bold self, exclaimed, "Wow, there are just too many good-looking guys in this town now!" She confidently strutted over to Tae and began inspecting him from head to toe. "You're quite the handsome fella, but let's be real, you're not as pretty as Jimin, sorry," she teased, before throwing in a cheeky comment about Koreans having flawless skin and demanding their skincare secrets. Tae, bless his heart, blushed furiously in response.

Liam, decided to call it a night and bid us farewell with a simple "I'm going to sleep. You guys enjoy your food. Bye," as he made his way upstairs.

Soon after, Rachel returned with an array of drinks and snacks, and we all feasted to our heart's content before eventually calling it a night and heading off to our respective rooms. Ahanu lucked out and snagged a single room all to himself, while Tae and I ended up sharing a room for the night.

Tae wasted no time in hitting the hay; the poor guy must've been exhausted from all the traveling he did that day. I could hear his gentle snores filling the room, a sound that was oddly comforting in the stillness of the night. Traveling all the way from LA to meet me, and then embarking on a search through the woods to find Liam - it was no wonder that he dozed off so quickly.

And there I was, lying there in the dimly lit room, watching Taehyung sleep peacefully,

I had the worst time trying to fall asleep last night, tossing and turning for what felt like hours. Feeling parched, I reached out for the trusty mug of water that always sits on my nightstand, only to find it empty. Frustrated, I realized I needed to make the journey downstairs to fetch some water.
