It's been a whole week since Liam swung by, and I've been a busy bee working on sprucing up my place. Safety first, I always say, so I made sure to reinforce the bars on my windows and doors. No way anyone shady is getting in here now. I even tackled the basement, turning it into a sweet playroom and gym combo. It's like a whole new crib down there.
And hey, remember those creepy eyes from that night? Well, ever since I got my sage on, I haven't caught a glimpse of them. Maybe Ahanu's little ritual did the trick. Speaking of which, I tried hitting him up to say thanks, but the dude's MIA. I've called him like a gazillion times, but he's probably knee-deep in something important.
As for Liam, the guy who seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth, his phone's been on permanent vacation. I've been itching to drop by his place, but I've been busy as heck with my household makeover. Priorities, you know?
But I can't shake the feeling that something's off. Like, why is Ahanu ghosting me now that I need to give him props? And Liam, Mr. MIA, what's going on with him? It's like everyone's playing hide and seek, and I'm the only one left looking for clues.
I've been so caught up in my own world that I almost forgot about the weirdness of that night. Those glowing eyes staring back at me, sending shivers down my spine. The sage might have done the trick, but deep down, I can't shake the feeling that something darker is lurking in the shadows.
I guess all I can do now is keep busy with my renovations, keep my place locked down tighter than Fort Knox, and hope that whatever's out there stays far, far away from me. But man, curiosity is killing me. I need answers, and I need them soon.
I let out yet another exasperated sigh as I tried to muster up the energy to cook my lunch. I decided on whipping up some spaghetti with tomato sauce, but as I went to take a bite, my appetite completely vanished. I reluctantly disposed of the rest of my food and decided to distract myself by playing with my cat for a bit.
Just as I was getting into the groove of cat playtime, my phone began to ring. I glanced at the screen and saw that it was Tae calling.

"Jiminieeee..." Tae's voice greeted me with a hint of urgency.
"Tae, how are you holding up?" I inquired.
"Jimin, I seem to have taken a wrong turn somewhere... I'm lost," Tae confessed.
"Where are you right now?" I asked, concern seeping into my voice.
"I'm in Arizona. I tried following your directions, but I think I messed up along the way," Tae responded sheepishly.
"Send me your location, I'll come to you," I reassured him.
