No one's Pov:

Nakauwi na si Krisantha sa bahay nila. Gaya ng pangako ni Beth, hinatid nila si Krisantha. Kasalukuyang nagluluto ang mommy niya ng hapunan para sa kanila. Umupo si Krisantha sa dining table nila, nagdadalawang isip kung sasabihin niya ang tungkol sa audition.

"Mommy," she started. "Hmm? Are you hungry na? Saglit lang, mabilis na 'to" she replied.

"Hindi pa naman po. I wanna say something..." sabi ni Krisantha at napahinto naman ang mommy niya sa pagluluto at tumingin sa kanya.

"Ano 'yun, anak?" she asked, sounding concerned.

"There is a man who talked to me earlier in our shooting. He asked me if I can audition sa isang Ppop girl group named 'BINI' to be a new member of it. Can I, Mom?" she opened up to her mother.

Her mother was silent for a few seconds. Then she decided to turn off what she's cooking and sat beside her daughter. "Do you want it? Do you want to be part of it?" she sincerely asked.

"I want to, Mom. This is a huge opportunity for me. But, ikaw, what's your opinion about this?" Krisantha asked. Her mother's opinion really matters to her.

"If that's what you want, okay sa akin, anak," she replied. Krisantha was relieved.

"But we still need to talk to your father." her mother added.

Krisantha's mood shifted down to a confused face. "Why?" she abruptly asked.

"Because he's your father" her mother answered.

"Since when?" Krisantha said with an attitude.

"Krisantha, we already talked about this, right? Don't be like that to your father." her mom seriously said.

"Why do you keep defending him, Mom? He cheated on you! He left us for her! He abandoned me for her! From the moment he chose her, I decided he's not my father anymore. He's just a stranger to me now. How can you still stand up for him after everything he's done to us?" Krisantha said, she's holding her tears now. Nakayuko siya ngayon, she doesn't want to cry again because of her father, she's tired of it.

"Because I forgive him..." Krisantha's mom said she was surprised by what her mother said to her. That was the first time hearing that from her. She's on the edge of having a breakdown.

Onti-onti niyang inangat ang kanyang ulo, she looked at her mother's eyes, looking if tama ba ang narinig niya but all she can see is truthfulness and sincerity, she finally broke down.

"But I can't..." she silently said while silently crying. She can't understand how her mother forgives her father just like that.

"Anak..." Krisantha's mom touched Krisantha's face and wiped her tears, she's now crying too. Hindi niya kayang makita that Krisantha still affected on what happened to them, 10 years ago. She can't watch her only daughter still being haunted by her failed marriage.

"I grew up without him, without his guidance and love. Kapag may family day sa school, I always expected him to come but he never did. Ang excuse niya, lagi siyang busy. After my 7 years existence with him, Ten birthdays na ang nagdaan sa akin, ni isa doon, wala siyang napuntahan. Mom, pagod na ako sa kanya, pagod na akong magpanggap na okay lang ako na walang tatay pero hindi. After all those lonely nights I spent wishing he would come back, after all the times I asked you why he wasn't there? He chose her over us, over me. How can you forgive him for that?" Krisantha said, not wasting any seconds. She's hurt. She's not alright.

"Anak, yung pagpapatawad na yun, hindi para sa kanya kundi para sa atin. For us to continue our life kahit wala siya. It's about finding peace in our hearts despite the pain. Alam ko nasaktan niya tayo. Alam ko you feel betrayed by your own father, pero kung kakapit tayo sa poot at galit natin, hindi tayo makaka-move forward, anak. I want us to move forward, to heal." Krisantha's mom explained to her, still holding her face.
