Back in the Diamond District, Hour and Cat sit on the floor next to their bunk bed. Hour is extremely vexed by the betrayal.
"Why don't you trust Doctor Chan? Why did you take that deal?" Hour questions.
"There's problems that are unsolved. Questions that aren't answered. It's kind of weird now that it's mentioned. Aren't homes supposed to make you feel safe? Because, I don't feel safe."
Hour stays quiet, then he sighs.
"Unless this isn't...home." Cat adds.
Hour breaks down and groans, he slightly loses ability to speak. He then goes back to normal.
"Fine, I'll help you with Vine's challenge."
Deep down, Hour agreed with Vine's accusations. Yet, he was just unable to say so.
"The 'files' can't be in any of the districts. Then, they'd be too easy to find. The only other floor is the Main Floor but that's way too small." Hour endlessly ponders.
Vine hops down from her bed and sits with Hour and Cat.
"If you need help, there's a guy I know in the Triangle District." She hints.
"Agh! Vine! Stop eavesdropping on our conversations!" Hour whines in annoyance.
"It's my challenge. I can eavesdrop on whenever I want." Vine scoffs.
"Back to the guy in the Triangle District. What did you say his name was again?" Cat asks, switching back to subject.
"Levi." Vine responds.
"Surprisingly normal name. Doctor Chan must like him." Hour conveys.
"You'll be able to spot him easily. He's got purple eyes. That's how you know he's pretty nerdy. Also the dude doesn't talk much, you really gotta interrogate him if you want information." Vine informs.
"How do we get to him though? We're not even allowed to go anywhere without Doctor's permission." Cat asks.
"When she calls us for tasks just sneak to Triangle District instead of Main Floor." Vine insists.
"That's crazy! We'll get punished!" Hour concerns.
"She won't notice. There's a hundred something kids in this district. She won't even realize we're gone." Vine smiles.
"We're!? So you're coming!?" Cat beams.
"Yeah, I'd figure I'd help since Hour will probably just drag you down." Vine chuckles.
"Excuse me!?" Hour rails.
Cat and Vine laugh.
