Hour wakes up, the bed stained with tears. He sees a small tv playing the same news channel from one of his memories, with the same reporter.
"This just in. Four official escapees from the newly discovered cooperation called Chan Co. Disguised as a filming studio but in reality is a child factory farming children from their mutations that they have gained from the electric wave that passed a few months ago. We've also learned from one of the escapees that Chan Co. is also responsible for the wave caused all those months ago. Hana Kai Chan, the owner of Chan Co., has been arrested for child labor, abuse, murder, and much more mistreatment. Police are looking for more potential escapees. A worker writes down the number on a purple sticky note. They turn off the tv and turn around to glance at Hour. Hour hides himself under the sheets.
"It's okay, I'm not going to hurt you." They reassure, smiling.
Hour doesn't respond and squints, holding back tears.
"What's your name?" They ask, trying to get Hour to trust them.
"Owen...Anderson." Hour replies, slowly.
