*knock* *knock*

"Bailey, is everything alright?" George asking outside of her door. Putting his ear against the door, listening in.

"Yes, I'm busy doing homework."

"Alright, was just checking. Let me know if you need help with anything."

"Ok." Bailey said bluntly. She continued to type away, writing her essay.

Annoyance spreading across her face. Her lips tightening, as her typing increased.

"He has some nerve." She lets out under her breath.

As she was typing away, she heard loud noise coming from outside.

She got up from her seat, making her way to the window. Looking out of it, seeing it's her neighbor from across the street.

The neighbor being Josh. He had just came home, music blasting loudly from his car. Jennifer sitting inside, along with her two friends.

Josh and Jennifer talking. As the two were chatting, josh looked up to baileys house. Directly to her window, to where she was seen standing at.

He smiled and waved to her. Baileys face turned into a look of annoyance as she closed her curtains.

"Who were you waving to?" Jennifer questioned as she looked around.

"It was just Bails. She's my neighbor." Josh said while getting out of his car.

"Yeah, I have no idea who that is."

"You two can keep talking, but I need to use your bathroom." Jocelyn said while hopping out of the car.

"Alright, let me go unlock the door then. I still need to grab some things." Josh making his way to the house. Jocelyn following behind.

Jennifer eyeing the two of them as they entered the home.

Kalani clearinng her throat, "Is something bothering you Jennifer?"

She turned to look at her, a forced smile appearing onto her face. "Oh wow, I don't know. You guys tagging along sure was something I was looking forward to. Especially when I said I wanted to hang out with Josh alone today. So you tell me if something is BOTHERING me." Jennifer ranted on. Her breathing quickening as she turned back around.

Kalani going quiet as she looked down to her hands. Playing with them.

......

Josh finished changing, and grabbed his charger. Making his way back downstairs.

As he made his way down, his eyes land onto Jocelyn and his dad. The two chatting. His dad with his hand on her shoulder.

Josh tensing up once seeing him. He quickly rushed over to them, lightly pushing his dad away.

"Hey let's go. We've been gone for a while." Josh said while grabbing onto Jocelyn's hand.

The dad scoffing before walking back up to Josh. Whispering in his ear. "Don't you ever lay your hands on me again. Or I'll fucking break them."

He looks back up to Jocelyn who stood there awkwardly.

"Sorry about my son. It was nice meeting you." He said with a smile spread across his face before walking away.
