A few years after they all returned from Alaria, they each used their experiences from Alaria to better themselves. First off, Sarah Harrmen. As a Xeno-Biologist, her firsthand experience with the fauna of Alaria was envied by others within the field.
She documented many things into the files of the GRO that added onto it more than just the pictures. She taught new Xeno-Biologists about Alarian fauna. However, she also advocated that the GRO never return to Alaria for a while at least. Until technology is less risky for engibe failure.
Nero Vellum utilized his experiences to teach about the Death Adder. He enjoyed retelling his times with it. It was a friend. It all culminating with him getting a novel published which was a hit. Helped exponentially by the fact that Alaria was a hot topic since he and the others returned those years before. He no longer works at the GRO and lives alone on Earth. With a decent amount of money from his novels success.
Nova Ceres inherited the CEO position of the GRO from her father after he succumbed to an illness. That gifted her a fortune and control of every facet of the GRO. She launched an investigation and found out her father was the one who activated a kill code in the Jupiter III's engine. It was a plan to gain more money from the builders of the Jupiter III whom the GRO employed by framing them for a shitty construction job.
Nova used her position to clean up the GRO and its reputation. She gave employees more generous pay, she made expeditions an optional choice for employees and exterminated the ability to sign employees into expeditions without the employees permission.
And finally John Davison had to face the greatest struggle upon returning. Fatherhood. On the years after returning from Alaria John and Nova got married. They had two sons and a daughter named Alan, John Jr., and Star Davison. He was a stay at home dad due to the amount of money he and Nova had thanks to her position. He spent his days hanging out with and caring for his children. And he often tells storied of Alaria to them.
Overall, the lives led by the survivors after their return were positive. Even if the road there was filled with turmoil. Alaria will never be forgotten as while it was only a week or two, it was a very intense and deadly experience. And the planet of Alaria was deemed as a planet that no one had jurisdiction to enter. The GRO made that certain. Thus concluding this tale.
