Aria's POV

I didn't say anything to Luna and walked to my room. "Ari, let's talk," I heard her call behind me. I guess she's right. "Fine," I said, removing the dress and changing into my home clothes.

"Nothing happened between me and Dante," she said

"Nothing happened between me and Dante," she said.

"Huh? Who said I care about that?" I responded, surprised.

"Huh?" she echoed, equally surprised.

"You really think that I care?" I said, shocked.

"So you do not like Dante?" Luna asked.

I don't know... Dante is a good person... He is really good-hearted... "I don't know," I said, frustrated, and jumped on my bed.

"You don't know?" she said, shocked.

"Ughhhh," I stuffed my face in the pillow.

"Ari... I guess I need to tell you something," she said, stressed. She always peels the skin off her nails when she gets scared.

"Yeah, sit down," I said, pointing at the bed. She sat down, and she was pretty in her dress.

"By the way, you look pretty," I said and laughed. She laughed too, but it was strained. She looked at me, and tears started to drip. This freaked me out. Did Dante do something? Did he touch her?

"What happened?" I said, freaking out and getting up. She looked at me and started crying.

"Remember two months ago? When we went to the club?" she said, hiccupping.

"Yeah, I came home early at 11 pm," I said, thinking.

"And I came home at 3 am, right? A few things happened," she said.

"WHAT?! DID SOMEONE TOUCH YOU!?" I freaked out.

"I kissed Alessandro... The two of us were drunk badly. You called me when he asked, 'What's your name?', and when I said your name... he thought that my name was Aria... and..." she trailed off.

WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL?! "YOU SAID MY NAME?! NOW ALESSANDRO THINKS THAT I WAS THE GIRL HE KISSED!?!" I screamed, freaking out.

"Shhh, Alex shouldn't know," she said quietly.

"Now Alessandro thinks I kissed him that night?" I said. She nodded, closing her eyes. Oh my god. No way. "Do you even like him?" I asked, shocked.

"I guess I do..." she said and blushed, covering her face. My jaw dropped.

"Why didn't you tell me?!" I yelled.

"I told Dante about it, that's why we planned to double date... so that we could tell you!" she said. I am about to faint. What is going on!?! So wait... "Lemme get this straight: Alessandro and you kissed two months ago, and you accidentally said my name... so now he thinks that he likes me instead of you, and you are secretly in love with him but he is in love with me," I said, trying to figure it out.

"I'm sorry," I said slowly.

"No, I should be," she said and hugged me. I hugged her back.

"I'll back off," I said.

"NO!" she screamed and pushed me back, holding my shoulders. "Do not say anything to him! He likes you!" she said.

"But now, my whole life I'll be thinking I took him from you... I don't think I will like him," I said slowly.

"Let's tell him at the night of the dance..." she said slowly.

"I guess I have an idea," I said, thinking of something mischievous.

"Yeah?" she asked.

"We'll switch places at the dance," I said, a plan forming in my mind. "You'll dress as me, and I'll dress as you. We'll see if Alessandro notices. If he's truly in love with you, he'll know it's you."

Luna's eyes widened. "Are you sure that will work?"

"It's worth a shot. If he really loves me, then it's better he finds out the truth now. If he loves you, he'll see through the disguise," I said.

She nodded, a glimmer of hope in her eyes. "Okay, let's do it."

I hugged her again. "We'll sort this out. No more secrets."

"Agreed," she said, squeezing me back.

That night at the dance would be the moment of truth.
