Aria Delaney

The days that followed were tense. Dante and I tried to maintain a semblance of normalcy, but the weight of his father's presence loomed over us. We knew we couldn't avoid him forever.

One evening, as the sun set, casting long shadows over the estate, I made my decision. I had to confront Dante's father. I needed answers, and I couldn't wait any longer.

"Dante," I said, turning to him as we sat on the patio. "I need to talk to your father."

He looked at me, concern etched on his face. "Aria, are you sure? He's dangerous."

"I know," I replied, my voice steady. "But I need to know the truth. I can't live in fear anymore."

Dante nodded, his jaw clenched. "I'll set it up. But I'm coming with you."

I reached out, squeezing his hand. "Thank you, Dante."
