Chapter One: Their lives

Sophie's life.

"And that's P4 boys, let's go." Sophie said after the checkered flag appears on her computer screen "Okay chat, that was the last race of the day, good games today i had a great time, I'm glad you guys liked the new setup, it's not done but it's going to be, now i gotta go unpack more boxes and eat. I'll finish editing the moving vlog these days and upload it. Thank you so much for watching the stream, I hope y'all enjoyed it and have a nice rest of your evening, probably gonna stream tomorrow but i don't know, okay, bye chat! Remember to be kind, always. She waved at the camera and ended the stream, grabbed her phone and walked to the kitchen where her best friend was. The plan was to order dinner but the smell of something burning got her confused. When she entered the kitchen, her best friend was making dinner, well... more like trying to make dinner.

"Isaac, what happened?" He turned around to face her trying to cover the mess he made.

"Hey, no more streaming?"

"I just ended. I thought you were going to order food."

"Well, we've been ordering food since you moved here so I thought I could make you your first proper British homemade welcome meal."

"Beans on toast or something like that?" She joked and he pointed a finger at her.

"Hey, you decided to move here so you can not make fun of my britishness anymore, this is my land, young lady."

"You threaten me saying that if i moved to any other place, you would get mad and we won't be friends anymore. I didn't have much of an option there, old man."

"Not the point, and I'm not an old man, anyway everything burned and I do not think any of this is edible."

"So... what do we order?" She asked while I unlocked her phone.

"Pizza?"

"Good choice, is Lia coming tonight?" She questions.

"No, she has dinner with her parents, i miss her." Her friend makes a sad face and pouts.

"You literally saw her this morning, Isaac."

Sophie has been living in Surrey for a month now. Isaac and Lia, his girlfriend, have been staying at her apartment almost all day and they leave very late at night. Lia lives with her parents and Isaac has his own apartment in the same building Sophie does, but Lia spends a lot of time at Isaac's, so if Isaac is at Sophie's, Lia is too. Isaac's apartment is on the bottom floor of the building, and Sophie's is on the top floor.

Don't get her wrong, Sophie loves them, Lia is so lovely and Isaac is too, but when they are over, she doesn't get much done around. The apartment is still full of boxes with her stuff, she just opened the ones that she needed and some things for her setup, but that's it.

"Pizza is on the way." She put my phone down and looked at the mess that was her place. "Isaac, I love you, but we need to divorce."

"Wow, just a month and our marriage it's over." He jokes.

"We live in the same building, you have to go back to live at your place while I try to unpack my stuff. I love your company and Lia's too, but we are a mess when we are together."

"I know, she told me that when she's with both of us, she feels like she's babysitting."

"Then it was so rude that she left us unsupervised for tonight."

"And the mess I made in your kitchen proves it." He sighs "I'll live in my apartment again then, i'll visit you probably everyday, you know?"

"I know. Now, clean my kitchen."
