She slowly opened her eyes and the light of the room hit her like a truck. When she adjusted to the light, she could take in her surroundings no.
She was in a white room, with a few turquoise lines running from wall to wall. There was a TV in front of her bed and the remote was on the table below it. She turned her head to the right and saw a small mattress, with some blue bedding and a PREMA cap.
She looked to her left to see who was speaking to her, and saw him. Her love, Ollie. He was by her side, even now.
"H-have you been sleeping here?" She croakily asked.
"I have. I hope you don't mind..." he said.
"I don't." She smiled.
"I will go get the doctor, ok, Lia?"
He left the room to find the doctor, and Aurelia missed him already. When he returned, he brought along a tall man, with a white coat and a stethoscope around his neck.
"Good morning Miss. Nobels. I am Dr. Freeman. I will be your doctor for the next few days. You have no frontal scarring from the fire, apart from a small scar on your cheek. If you look in the mirror on your bedside table you can see. It's not bad, but unfortunately I have to say you have major scarring on your back, because you had your back against the engine."
Aurelia was speechless. She had major scarring on her back? What would Ollie think? Could she still race?
"I will... um.... Leave you guys alone." The doctor said.
Ollie looked at her, and said, "I don't care that you have scarring. I am just happy you're alive. Ok? It was fucking terrifying being behind you when you spun. Watching you hit the wall and burst into flames. When I got back to the pits I fucked up Doohan pretty bad. So he shouldn't be a problem."
Aurelia burst into tears. She had ruined her racing career by getting into the crash, and potentially Ollie's if the FIA ban him for violence.
"Hey, hey. I asked the doctor about you racing, and he said you should be fine for the last 3 races, you will just have to sit Texas out. I have no idea if I will be able to race or not, but thats not your fault. I chose to punch him, okay?" Ollie soothed her.
Then his phone buzzed. He pulled it out and saw F2 had tweeted something.
"Shit. Well, here goes nothing." He whispered.
Although what he thought would be a tweet about a race ban for him, was something completely different.

Due to current affairs, Jack Doohan has been removed from the Alpine Academy. We do not tolerate dangerous driving intended to hurt drivers, therefore he will not return to Alpine F1's Driver Academy next year.

After a 2 year stint with Invicta Virtuosi, we cannot allow Jack Doohan to continue racing with our team. We have shared many memories together. F3 championship leader Gabriel Bortoleto will complete the final 4 races of the season, and will be racing for us in the 2024 season.

PREMA driver Ollie Bearman was investigated for violence in the Pit Lane against Jack Doohan. After numerous reports from people at the scene, it has been decided that Ollie will not receive any penalties or fines whatsoever.
