The next day at school, Lisa found herself sitting next to Jisoo during their lunch break in the bustling cafeteria.
With a sense of urgency gnawing at her insides, she knew it was time to confide in her best friend about Chaeyoung's troubling behavior. As they nibbled on their sandwiches, Lisa took a deep breath, steeling herself for the conversation ahead.
"Hey, Jisoo," Lisa began, her voice tinged with a hint of apprehension. "I need to talk to you about something."
Jisoo looked up from her sandwich, her gaze curious as she turned to Lisa. The chatter of their classmates surrounded them, creating a cocoon of noise that offered some semblance of privacy amidst the crowded cafeteria. Lisa took a moment to gather her thoughts, her mind racing with the weight of the conversation she was about to initiate.
"It's about Chaeyoung," Lisa finally said, her voice soft but determined. "Have you noticed that she hasn't been... well, mean to us in a while?"
Jisoo furrowed her brows, her expression thoughtful as she considered Lisa's words. "Now that you mention it," she replied slowly, "she has been quieter than usual lately. I guess I didn't really think much of it, but now that you bring it up..."
"Yeah," Lisa interjected, her voice tinged with concern. "I thought maybe she was just going through something, but then I overheard her and Jungkook arguing the other day, and it sounded pretty intense."
A flicker of worry crossed Jisoo's features as she processed Lisa's words. "Oh, no," she murmured, her voice filled with empathy. "That doesn't sound good at all. Do you think something's going on between them?"
Lisa shook her head, her own worry deepening with each passing moment. "I'm not sure," she admitted. "But whatever it is, I'm worried about her, Jisoo."
"Why would you be worried about Chaeyoung?" Jisoo asked, her confusion evident in her voice. "I mean, she's always been... you know, a bit of a bully and a bitch."
Lisa sighed, knowing she needed to choose her words carefully. "I know, but... I just have this feeling that something's not right," she replied earnestly. "We need to keep an eye on her, just in case."
Jisoo nodded in agreement, her expression resolute. "Whatever," she said firmly. "Don't think she deserves it.. But I'll keep an eye on her too."
Lisa felt a sense of relief wash over her at Jisoo's support. With her best friend by her side, she knew they could navigate the challenges ahead and find a way to help Chaeyoung through whatever she was facing.

Lisa's conversation with Jisoo had only fueled her determination to find a way to help Chaeyoung, but she was still grappling with how to approach the situation without making things worse.
The lunch bell rang, and students flooded into the cafeteria. Lisa took her usual seat with Jisoo, her eyes scanning the room for any sign of Chaeyoung and Jungkook. It wasn't long before she spotted them. Chaeyoung was sitting at a table with Jungkook, who was leaning in close, his arm possessively draped over her shoulders.
Suddenly, Jungkook's voice rose above the general chatter of the cafeteria. "What the hell is wrong with you, Chaeyoung?" he snapped, loud enough for several nearby tables to turn and stare.
Chaeyoung flinched, her eyes darting around nervously as she tried to calm him down. "Jungkook, please, not here," she pleaded, her voice barely above a whisper.
But Jungkook wasn't having any of it. He tightened his grip on her arm, causing her to wince in pain. "Don't tell me what to do!" he shouted. "You've been acting weird and distant. What are you hiding from me?"
