The sun rose on a new day, casting its warm glow over the school campus. The events of the previous evening lingered in Lisa's mind, the emotional rollercoaster still fresh in her memory. She couldn't shake the conflicting emotions that Chaeyoung's vulnerability and hurtful words had stirred within her.
As Lisa walked through the school corridors, she couldn't help but notice the shift in atmosphere. Chaeyoung was back to her usual icy demeanor, her walls up and her words sharp. Lisa's heart ached at the change, the connection they had shared feeling distant and fragile.
Their paths crossed near the lockers, and Chaeyoung's gaze met Lisa's with a mixture of disdain and indifference. "Didn't get enough attention last night, Lisa? Still playing the naive little girl?"
Lisa's heart tightened at the bitterness in Chaeyoung's tone. She knew that their conversation had stirred something within Chaeyoung, but the girl's defensiveness was a clear barrier between them.
Before Lisa could respond, Chaeyoung's gaze shifted beyond her, and a familiar figure came into view. Jungkook, he walked over with a confident swagger. His arm slipped possessively around Chaeyoung's waist, and Lisa couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy. Which she would never admit.
As Jungkook's grip tightened, Lisa's keen observation caught a flicker of pain in Chaeyoung's eyes. The girl's expression tightened for a brief moment before she masked it with a forced smile. Lisa's heart ached at the sight, the glimpse of vulnerability beneath Chaeyoung's facade tugging at her empathy.
"Well, well, if it isn't the schools well known loser." Jungkook's voice was laced with arrogance as he addressed Lisa.
Jisoo appeared by Lisa's side, a protective glint in her eyes. "Back off, Jungkook."
Jungkook's smirk only widened, his grip on Chaeyoung tightening. "I'd watch my words if I were you, Jisoo."
Lisa's heart raced as the tension in the air thickened. She exchanged a quick glance with Jisoo, a silent understanding passing between them.
Chaeyoung's gaze flickered between Lisa and Jisoo, a hint of something unreadable in her eyes. But before anything more could be said, Chaeyoung's voice was dripping with venom once again. "You two really are pathetic. Can't even stand up for yourselves."
"I could but I'm not gonna spend my time with a bunch of losers." Jisoo snapped back at them.
"I mean you basically are related to one." Chaeyoung exclaimed.
And with that, Chaeyoung and Jungkook walked away, leaving Lisa and Jisoo standing there, the echoes of their hurtful words lingering in the air.
"They're so fucked oh my god." Jisoo broke the silence. "Jisoo it's really not worth spending your time with trying to defend yourself I gave up long time ago I've realized they just have a sad life." Lisa rolled her eyes thinking of the blonde.

Later that day, in the cafeteria, Lisa found herself surrounded by a sea of faces, the noise of chatter and laughter filling the air. She picked at her lunch, her appetite gone, as she tried to ignore the curious glances and pointed whispers that followed her.
Chaeyoung's voice cut through the cacophony, sharp and mocking. "Oh look, it's Lisa, the girl who thinks she's special."
The cafeteria seemed to hush as all eyes turned to Lisa. Her cheeks burned with embarrassment, her heart hammering against her chest. She tried to keep her composure, reminding herself that Chaeyoung's words were nothing more than a desperate attempt to assert control.
"I-I literally just got food?" Lisa snapped back at the blonde still looking embarrassed.
"Maybe," Chaeyoung shrugged. "But I think we all know deep down you think you're better than all of us."
"I think you switched us up." And with that Lisa sat down beside Jisoo. And Chaeyoung followed.
Jisoo's reassuring presence at her side gave Lisa the strength to lift her chin and meet Chaeyoung's gaze head-on.
And as Chaeyoung had done before, she took the ketchup tube and poured it all over Lisa.
As the cafeteria erupted into laughter and whispers, Lisa couldn't shake the feeling of embarrassed, she had enough. The unraveling of their bonds was a complex journey, one filled with moments of vulnerability and pain, but also marked by barriers that seemed insurmountable.
The final bell signaled the end of the school day, and as Lisa gathered her belongings, she noticed a slip of paper tucked into her locker. Unfolding it, she read the words scrawled in Chaeyoung's handwriting: "Meet me at your house tonight. We need to talk."
A mixture of anticipation and trepidation settled in Lisa's heart. The invitation was unexpected, a glimmer of hope amidst the chaos of their tangled emotions. With a determined resolve, Lisa tucked the note into her bag and walked out of the school, ready to face whatever awaited her that evening.
The unraveling of their bonds was a path fraught with uncertainty, but Lisa was determined to navigate it, even if it meant confronting the hurtful words, the hidden pain, and the shadows that threatened to keep them apart.
