Hope washed away
Wishes did too
So many thoughts dawned
Only spoke of two
Isn't it easy to hurt
And blame it on all that made you
When you are one hesitating
Even before the cue
Texts erased before hitting send
Believing no energy is getting lost hence
Wired all wrong
Or you gave up on you
A step forward or a step backward
Not knowing what to choose
Losing yourself
But lost to who
Or there was nothing to begin with.
