Nanda Parbat"Cora this is Bane," Talia smiled, showing off the man on her arm. She frowned, eyeing him up. He was large, and she didn't seem to like him.
She held out her hand for him to shake it, "Coralia Al Ghul."
"Bane," he grunted, shaking her hand.
Cora watched them walk away, a frown glued to her face. The way he looked at her sent chills down her spine. She was uncomfortable, disgusted even. She knew Talia had alternative motives with him, but even the small amount of time she would spend with him made Cora nauseous.
He had been aggressive since he got to Nanda Parbat. Anyone who tried to get near him, he threatened, and it had gotten back to Ra's. Word through the base was that he was next in line, he was to marry Talia. He didn't look at anyone with respect, only subjects for his pleasure and bidding. Cora hated it. She hated it so much.
Pushing her hair behind her ear, she walked down one of the corridors. She reached a familiar room, knocking on the door, "May I come in?"
The door creaked open, revealing a young boy, only 10 years old, "Cora."
"Hey Damian," she smiled as he opened the door wide enough for her to enter. She slipped inside, falling back onto his bed.
"Is Mother with that man again?" He questioned, sitting cross-legged beside her.
She nodded, "Unfortunately."
He tsked, "He's insufferable, disgusting. Just looking at him leaves a foul taste in my mouth."
"Something is off about him, Dami, I don't trust him," she replied, her voice serious, "I want you to stay away from him."
"Please, as if that scum could even touch me," he scoffed, "Honestly Cora, it's ridiculous."
"I'm arranging for you to go back to Gotham, to be with Bruce."
"I don't want to see my father," he growled, looking at her with a scrunched nose.
"He's looking for a new Robin, it would get you away from all of this, it's going to end badly and I don't want you hurt," she admitted, sitting up, "Jason will take care of you, he gave me his word."
"Fine."
"Thank you," she whispered, getting up to go back outside, before she turned to face him, "You aren't my son, but I would protect you with my life, always remember that."
He nodded, and she walked back out to the corridor. Squaring her shoulders, she went towards the great hall, going to face Bane once again.

30 minutes after ArrivalCora stood outside the medical bay, chewing on her fingernail. Caitlin and Cisco had successfully gotten Jason's vitals to stabilize, and he was hooked up to an IV drip. He looked peaceful, his face still, his body relaxed. She fought the urge to go in and sit by his side until he woke, but it wasn't her place. She sighed, turning away from the window. Barry stood there, his uniform changed to a blue crewneck, khakis and black converse. He watched her silently, his hands stuffed in his pockets.
"Where's Wally?" Cora questioned, looking for the redhead. She hoped that striking up a conversation would shift the tension in the room.
"With Hunter," Barry replied, rubbing a palm along the back of his head.
