Chapter 1: Shauna

I get dressed and look at myself in the mirror. The kiss being the only thing I can think about. Knowing she kissed me even though she has a boyfriend, She kissed me even though she thinks it's wrong for her to kiss a girl.

My mind flashes back to the time Jeff, Jackie's boyfriend tried to sleep with me.

I refused of course because there's only one person in that relationship that I want to sleep with.

Jackie.

I walk out of the hotel room and see Van waiting for the elevator, her hair slightly messy. I run up to her, desperate to know if she knew where the hell Jackie went.

"Van!" I catch up to her "Have you seen Jackie at all this morning?"

"No." She says with her usual tone of voice. "Why? She's not with you?"

"Obviously fucking not!" I almost yell, irritated that Jackie just gave me what I've wanted for who knows how long and then just ran away from me.

"Shauna what the hell happened?" Van looks at me with care in her eyes.

"If I tell you she would kill me and eat me for fucking lunch."

"Why does anyone have to become a cannibal in this situation?"

"Van you don't understand" I look into her eyes to make sure she understands me. "Jackie she has a boyfriend and I-I" I cut myself off, realizing I said way too much.

"So you fucked her?" Van says, bluntly, smirking a bit.

"What no I didn't fuck her." I roll my eyes. "Promise you won't tell anyone. Not even Tai. I know how close you too are. And even though you're best friends you can't say a word to her, understand?"

She smiles. "I promise and I understand."

"She kissed me and then just left me as if it was nothing."

"Did you like the kiss?" Van looks at me with a satisfied look.

"Maybe a little bit, but that's not the point."

"Then what is your point?"

"I just need to find her." I can tell that she can see how desperate I am to find her in my eyes.

"Look I'm sorry I just came out of my room like two minutes before you did." She pouts, "I have no fucking idea where Jackie would have gone."

I nod and Tai comes out of her and Van's room, her hair messy like Vans, and she looks the most disheveled I have ever seen her.

"Looks like your girl's right there." Van says, pointing to the front desk, forcing me to look away from Tai's questionable state.

I turn around and see her standing at the front desk, talking to the man behind it.

The first thought that goes into my head is that I scared her away.

"Thank you." I say to Van as I run over to where Jackie is, needing to talk to her before she inevitably leaves because of me.
