After talking to the man at the desk, who's name tag reads, Ryan, about the most boring things imaginable, I see Shauna running straight towards me.
"Jackie, I need to talk to you." Shauna says to me, out of breath and panting.
Ryan looks at me, then Shauna, then back to me, confusion obvious in his eyes.
"Sorry." I say to him. "My friend needs to talk to me." I restate what he heard like the fucking idiot I am.
Shauna grabs my hand and drags me to our hotel room. She closes the door and locks it before looking at me with a hurt expression. One I know I've caused.
"What the hell Jackie." Shauna yells at me.
"I know what I did was wrong." I look down at the ground, unable to even look at her face, let alone even look her in the eyes. "I'm sorry you had to kiss a girl, let alone me. If you don't want to be friends anymore, I completely understand."
"You're right. I don't want to be friends anymore, Jackie." She sighs. Her words make me look up to look at her face.
I nod, "I completely understand and respect your decision." I look down again, ashamed about myself.
"I want to be more." Shauna says suddenly.
"Excuse me?" I look up at her, shocked. "What do you mean you want to be more?"
"I want to be your girlfriend."
