Chapter 7: Edd gives birth and Five years later

(Dragoon here! Letting you know that there is a couple time skips and will have an A/N as usual at the end of the chapter. Though I don't think anyone reads them... Oh well enjoy the chapter)

9 months passed by like a blink of an eye. After Edd found out that his second birthday present from Kevin was a success he was so happy. He called his brother and told him the good news. After he went and told Ed and Eddy. Ed was happy but Eddy just said for Edd not to dump the baby on him if they wanted to go out. When it was time to start picking out names they decided if it was a boy they would name it Jim after Edd's plant cactus that had the same name. (Sadly it was neglected for over a year almost two so it died.) If it was a girl Ami. Soon Edd found him self in the hospital. Going into surgery so the baby could be taken out. They knocked Edd out so he didn't have to see anything that would make his stomach do flips.

"Uncle Kevin, where is Uncle Edd?" Plank asked. "He will be out soon Plank" Kevin answered. "Go play with Robyn and Manic" he said. Hearing his 2 best friends were here Plank perked up and went to find them. "Hey man, you o.k?" Nat asked as he and Rave got there. Rave's stomach was bulging again. "You two don't quit do you?" Kevin asks after he spotted Rave who answered with a blush. Kevin sighed. "Hey Shovelchin if Double Dee don't make it through this, you're dead!" Eddy stormed through to him with more concern for his friend than anger. "Whoa there he's fine he just needs his sleep the doc said because they knocked him out" Kevin threw his hands up in defense.

After awhile longer Edd was up and everyone rushed into the room to check up on him. Kevin got in first followed closely by Dragoon, then the two ed's, Nazz was next. Rave was last trying to usher the kids in the room. "Baby what is the gender?" Kevin asked almost out of breath from trying to get in before the heard of people. The whole Cul-de-sack was there. "Everyone meet Jim" Edd beamed. His little tail hung out of the blanket showing that he was a brunette. Plank came over to the bed while Kevin sat down. "Meet your cousin Plank, his name is Jim" Edd said spotting the wide grin coming from his nephew. "Hi ya Jim, I'm your best cousin in the whole world, and these are my best friends Robyn and Manic. We are going to be best friends when you can speak" Plank said showing his biggest smile.

5 years passed like nothing. Jim's tail and wings stayed but they didn't care. Plank and Manic were being raised around Robyn to begin with and she still had her wings so they were training all of them like they would one with wings and tail. It was Jim's 5th birthday and all his friends from kindergarten came over. Edd was in the kitchen while Kevin was at work. Plank, Robyn and Manic were over too. "Happy birthday cuz" Plank said as he gave the present that he and his parents picked out for him. "Yeah happy birthday Jim papa said to give these to ya" Manic said with a blush on his face. "Dragoon don't you have band practice?" Edd asked while watching the kids. "Nah that was canceled thanks to a band member getting a cold" He answered. "You know you could leave the kids in my care I know how to look after them since I've babysat Plank, Robyn and Manic since they were small" Edd asked. "Well I don't get to hang out with my younger brother much now do I?" Dragoon answered. "Papa look what I got from Plank, Uncle Johnny and Uncle Dragoon!" Jim came bounding to the kitchen holding a plant. "Sorry Jim I had to work on your birthday" came a voice from the door. "Daddy's home!" Jim exclaimed as he bounded towards the door throwing himself into his fathers arms. "Hey welcome home" Edd said putting the plant down and made his way towards Kevin. "I'm home baby" Kevin said planting a kiss on Edd's lips not noticing the crowd of kids at their feet. "Why do you have two dads?" One asked. "Oh my papa gave birth to me" Jim proudly answered. "Wait a boy can't give birth" the person said. "My pap also gave birth to me" plank said standing beside Jim. "Ours too" the twins answered. "That's right my Edd here gave Jim life. Five years ago he was in the hospital needing surgery to get him out" Kevin answered getting wide stares from the kids. Edd shook his head. "Kevin they are too small to understand it" Edd answered, still shaking his head. The older three of the kids piped up together at the kid. "What do you say to Jim?" they asked getting a sorry from the kid. "Hi Uncle Kevin. Uncle Edd was going to have troubles if you didn't walk through those doors when you did knowing Uncle" Plank said getting a hug from Kevin. "O.k Plank anyways how is my favorite nephew doing?" Kevin asked as he sat down on the couch. "Hey what about us Uncle?" Robyn and Manic asked. "O.k how are my favorite niece and nephews doing?" Kevin asked. Robyn and Manic classify Kevin, Edd, Johnny and Dragoon as their uncles same with their kids with their parents. Soon Johnny joined them. "Hi papa" Plank squealed running up to Johnny for a hug. "Plank wasn't lying either" the kids said amazed. "Hey honey" Dragoon said standing at the doorway of the kitchen. Johnny made his way towards Dragoon. Soon Rave and Nat showed up. "Daddy you made it!" Robyn exclaimed as she ran up to give Rave a hug making sure not to bother the sleeping child from the way over. "Why didn't Xexion come with you guys?" Jim asked looking at the sleeping burgundy haired kid. "He wasn't up yet when we left" Manic replied with a shrug. "Where is the birthday boy?" a voice came from behind Rave. "Uncle Nat you made it!" Jim exclaimed jumping for joy. "Hi dad. Jim could you please stop jumping?" Manic asked still with a blush on his face. Rave chuckled, it was clear that Manic had a crush on the brunette. "Xexion we are here wake up, Jim is here" Rave shook the sleeping kid a little and with a groan the kid opened his eyes. "Jim, hi. Um, happy birthday" he said getting up and getting a hug from Jim. Xexion still had his wings.

Over at the kitchen one of the children was looking at dragoon's hair. "You're hair is pretty mister" the girl stated as she kept staring at Dragoon's hair. "Thank you little one. Now why don't you play with the rest until your parents come for you" Dragoon said as she nodded and left the kitchen. "Auntie Nazz you're here! Look I've been keeping my hair in good shape and it looks very pretty" Robyn piped up as Nazz and Eddy came in. Nazz was expecting now after being married to Eddy for a year. "It is dear and how is my favorite niece doing?" Nazz asked playfully. Yep everyone knew Nazz would make a great mother since If Edd was busy they trusted her with their kids and she did a good job too. "Auntie Nazz!" the boys yelled as they made their way to her.

"Happy birthday kiddo" Eddy said patting Jim on the head. "Thank you uncle Eddy" Jim smiled. The kids knew everyone from the Cul-de-sack as uncle or auntie as they are always around them growing up even after Edd and Kevin moved into a new house that could fit Jim. Soon everyone from the Cul-de sack were there saying happy birthday to Jim when they came through the door. Soon it was time for cake and everyone sung happy birthday. After gift giving the kids left one by one. Then the adults turn was upon them.

"Night, Jim have a good sleep" Kevin said as he tucked his son in his bed and kissed his forehead goodnight. "Today was tiring" Kevin sighed as he flopped down on the bed ready to go to sleep. Edd right beside him. "Then go to sleep love, I'm right here" Edd cooed. Kevin quickly fell asleep Edd following right after.

Edd heard a voice that he didn't recognize at all. "Yes my lord I will hunt these people down and slaughter them. Edd Barr-Vincent, Kevin Barr, Dragoon Shadowpainter, Johnny Shadowpainter, Nathan Goldberg, James Cute-Goldberg and their offspring" the voice said. Edd gasped and started to break down. 'Why would anybody want us dead? And who is it I don't recognize the voice and it's male. Oh no what am I going to tell the others because they are in danger too' Edd thought. Still panicking tons of things played through his head the last one becoming more worse then the other. He didn't notice a Person coming up and stab him in the gut.

(*Gasp* poor Edd. Things took a turn for the worst huh? No to explain the absurd name for the third child in the Goldberg house. Rave let Nat name him... It's wrote Xexion but pronounced Sexion.... Nat, Nat, Nat. Why?! I had to do some major editing on this chapter though. And rewrite almost a whole paragraph cause I messed up. I still got it up though. What do you think will happen next?
