Y/n's pov

I woke up to feeling someone impulsively playing with my hair.

I didn't quite realize what was going on but I didn't want it to end.
I felt so warm and safe then I realized it was Walker.

I sat up straight and forgot why he was there for a hot sec (dw I remembered)

"Morning!" Walker said in a tone MUCH too enthusiastic for this ripe hour. As if he had been awake for at least 30 minutes before me.

"...morning" I said in my sleepy morning voice.

"What time is it?" I questioned.

"9:18"

I pulled the covers back over my head and slammed my body back into my mattress which soon had me sinking in. (Yes it's the good kind)

"It's too early," I groaned.

"Too EARLY?!" What time do you normally wake up?!" Walker asked.

"I don't know like 11ish?? IT'S SUMMER!!"

"Nope that's not happening, we are getting up right now!" Walker countered.

I would've argued but #1 this is Walker Scobell we're talking abt like cmon, and reason #2 I'm starving.

"fine..."

We walked downstairs and I still had my blanket wrapped around my whole body.

"Do you have anything to eat?"

"I have eggs but don't you think you should let your mom know you're alive?!"

"I texted her this morning. I'm pretty sure she would freak out if it was anyone but you, y/n" He chuckled, but it made my stomach flip.

When Walker started to crack the eggs and do whatever other Gordan Ramsey shit he was doing my brain glitched and I remembered he had NO SHIRT ON...

I didn't say anything because it was a gorgeous sight not gonna lie.

After eating breakfast Walker and I sat on my couch kinda doing our own thing.

"Hey y/n did you know you left the door unlocked yesterday?" Walker asked.

"Oh shit really?"

"You didn't do that on purpose...?" he mumbled

"Why would I do that?!" I exclaimed.

"Y/n, if you can't even remember to lock your own house door, I'd hate to see what chaos you'd cause in a week. I think it would be best if you just stayed at my house." Walker suggested.

My heart got caught in my stomach then my stomach got stuck in my throat and suddenly I couldn't talk.

"Uhm... I uh" Was all I could manage.

"My mom is definitely fine with it so don't even worry about that" Walker said.

"great...!" Is all I could say.

I got together all the stuff I would need for the week and put it in my backpack. I placed it on my bed and started to do my makeup at my vanity. Walker was just laying on my bed.

Once I finished I picked out a cute outfit and changed. I MADE SURE TO CLOSE MY CLOSET DOOR THIS TIME!! We started talking about what to do that day and decided to go to the park we went to the day we got ice cream.
