TRIGGER WARNING: TOPIC OF SUICIDE AND CUTTING

This morning, Spencer had rushed into the office with a concerned look and immediately asked JJ who her contact to the D.C police was, still scribbling in his black notebook. When he put his notebook down to call, you walked over from your desk and peeked at the pages, seeing a drawn sketch of a young boy with curly hair. Everyone was confused, including Gideon, but he played it off well.

After Spencer talked with Garcia to find the boy; you, Reid, and Gideon head to this stranger's home. You wait for maybe ten seconds before what you presume to be the boy's mother answers the door. You greet her with a smile, the two men in front of you not, as she stares at you guys very confused.

"Yes?" she asks.

"I'm Jason Gideon of the FBI with Doctor Reid and Agent (L/N). We're looking for your son, Nathan," he says rather quickly. You watch Spencer look over to Gideon with a concerned look on his face, almost nervous to get into the home to talk to the boy again. The mother speaks about him defensively, not sure if she even wants you guys there, until he appears behind her and speaks up.

"No, mom, it's true," Nathan says, his mother looking over her shoulder. He looks at the agents at the door quickly before back to his mom.

"I did talk to them."

The mother looks between you guys and her son a few times, super confused. You don't blame her—this is all too weird.

"Do you mind if I speak to them alone or..." Nathan says, fiddling with his fingers. The mother stammers out an "okay" as Gideon just walks in. You follow Spencer and Nathan to the teenager's room, metal music playing loudly. The first thing you do is turn it off.

"I knew if you were really good you'd find me," Nathan says to Spencer with a small smile, like he was proud. Spencer looks to you with a nervous look then back at the boy.

"Is that why you were waiting for me? You were...you wanted to get caught?"

"What do you mean "get caught"?" Nathan asks with the smile still on his face. He looks at Spencer like he was a fan or something. It makes you a bit uneasy. Spencer opens Nathan's laptop and you both see he was typing up a "text for a graphic novel" about killing prostitutes. You and Spencer are starting to get even more suspicious than you already were.

"You knew specific details about a case that hasn't been publicized," Spencer's voice got a little louder like he was frustrated but when he looked back at the teenage boy in front of him, his tone changed to one of sympathy.

"But I didn't kill her," Nathan responds then stares blankly in the air. "I just....I really wanted to."

That's it, you're uncomfortable. Hearing a teenage boy say that he wanted to kill a stranger? Not exactly a thing you want to hear.

You took him with you to actually interrogate him, Spencer being the lead. You both sit in front of him, you having a very different expression; Spencer sits up straight with his hands intertwined on the table, his eyes narrow like he's examining the kid, while your eyes are open and soft, a small smile on your face to show you're friendly, also leaning on the table with your arms slightly.

"Nathan, if you didn't actually kill her, how did you know the details of the murder?" you ask softly, trying to make him feel a bit more comfortable, your smile fading a bit while you ask a serious question.
