You've been taken. Kidnapped. Cuffed. Helpless.

The case you and the team were working on was finding a religious fanatic serial killer who would call the police right before murdering his victims then leave a bible passage at the crime scene. You and JJ were going to a suspect's house but didn't expect it to go downhill. You suggested splitting up because no one was answering when you heard something in the corn field nearby, not knowing that going in there would lead you to your capture.

You're sat in a chair with Dilaudid in your system, staring at screens of multiple people this man has been watching. You just watched him murder someone; slit her and her husband's throat, and there's nothing you can do. You're weak from the drug and being beaten ruthlessly. Gideon and Hotch get to the crime scene and Gideon glances over to the laptop with a video camera attached to it, realizing you'd be able to see him. He walks over, sits in the chair, and leans close to the screen.

"(L/N), if you're watching, you're not responsible for this. You understand me?"

You stare at the screen as Gideon talks to you.

"He's perverting God to justify murder. You are stronger than him. He cannot break you."

Gideon then turns around and goes out of frame, making you feel so lonely again.

Your kidnapper, Tobias Hankel, finds out about Gideon talking to you somehow. Thing is, this sicko has multiple personalities, the most ruthless one being his father. That's who abuses and tortures you. That personality is watching the screens right after uploading the video of his last murder online when a warning of a virus suddenly pops up, knowing immediately that it's your team trying to shut him down. You try to explain to him that you're there with him, that you can't stop your team from looking for you, but then he pulls up Gideon's face and those words he said to you.

"He cannot break you," plays in front of you again then Tobias, or rather his father, shuts down the computer and walks over to you, angry.

"You think you can defy me?" he says in a low and dark tone.

"I...I don't know what he's talking about--"

"You're a liar!" he shouts. You're scared, more scared than you've been this whole time. He sees the holes of the needle Tobias has been giving you and just gets angrier.

"You're pitiful. Just like my son."

He swiftly turns around and turns on a video camera that's pointed at you, showing your whole team your state. He starts beating you, demanding you confess your sins. He gets so rough that the chair falls backwards, making your back hit the ground so hard that no more air can enter your body, no matter how hard you gasped. You break out into a seizure then suddenly stop.

You're dead.

Gideon is distraught. Penelope is terrified. Tobias is outside arguing with his "father". All while you're dead, laying on the wooden floor, life leaving your body.

The next thing you knew, you were gasping for air, dizzy, but you see a tombstone-looking rock with names and numbers on it. That's it; you're in a cemetery. Your whole team is watching you come back to life when Tobias' third personality comes through, the archangel Raphael.

"You came back to life," he says calmly and quietly. "There can be only one of two reasons."

He pauses, staring down at you.
