"Cait cmon, we're going to be late!" Katie yelled from the bottom of the stairs. Katie had booked the pair a dinner reservation on a weekend they had off. she thought they hadn't been out just the two of them in a while and decided she would treat her girlfriend.

"I'm coming, I'm coming." Caitlin said walking down the stairs.

"Your beautiful." Katie said and leaned in for a quick kiss.

"As are you." Caitlin replied.

"Alright come one." Katie said and grabbed Caitlin's hand to lead her to the car.

Katie drove the pair to the restaurant with her hand resting in her girlfriends lap gripping her hand. Once they got there, they had a waitress show them to their table and took a seat.

"This place is really nice Katie." Caitlin said as they were sitting down.

The restaurant she chose was a bit expensive but so what, it was just for one night.

"Yeah not too bad hey?"

They both sat down and had a look at the menu's

"Katie this place is so expensive!" Caitlin exclaimed.

"Cait it's Fine it's just for one night and I want to treat you." Katie said and reached her hand for Caitlin's. Caitlin gladly took it and looked at her girlfriend with love struck eyes.

They spent the whole night talking about everything and nothing, not running out of conversation once. That's the good thing about being in love with your best friend, you don't have to force conversation because you already know each other so well and there's no awkwardness to anything.

They finished their food and decided to head home. The rest of the night the pair spent in Katie's bed cuddled up just watching TV.
