NEVERMORE - WEDNESDAY AND ENID'S ROOM- MORNING

Enid grabs a few items and puts them in her bag. She walks over to Wednesday's bed and gently strokes Wednesday's arm.

ENID

Hey I'm leaving now. Are you sure you're gonna be ok? I can get the nurse to come and check on you? Give you stronger pain killers?

WEDNESDAY

No I'm ok

She winces in pain and takes a big breath out

ENID

I'm not convinced. Weird that your cramps are so bad when you normally don't feel them. Maybe it's because it's the last day of the blue moon?

Wednesday shifts over, she holds her breath as she does so, eyebrows scrunched

WEDNESDAY

I don't think it's to do with the moon Enid, I'm not a wolf. I've never had cramps this bad. If it continues I'll text you and you can get the nurse okay?

ENID

OK. Please do. I don't want you to suffer. I'll come back to check on you in between classes, try and rest

She rubs Wednesdays arm and walks out of the room. As soon as the door shuts Wednesday lets out a groan

A few hours have passed, Enid comes through the door to check on Wednesday, Wednesday is where Enid left her

ENID

Hey sleepy, how are you feeling now?

She walks over to the bed and looks at Wednesday

ENID

Whoa, Wednesday... you don't look too great

Wednesday groans and rolls on the bed, she's pale and sweating profusely, she grinds her teeth in pain

WEDNESDAY

Enid, I think I'm dying

ENID

Why didn't you message me, I'm getting the nurse! You've been suffering all weekend with this, enough's enough!

She goes to walk out of the room but calls back to Wednesday as she leaves

ENID

I'll be 2 minutes! Hold on!

True on her word she's only gone a few minutes but by the time she's back Wednesday is out of bed and standing by the window. Enid breathes a sigh of relief that she's up but Wednesday soon places both hands on the glass and starts to groan

WEDNESDAY

UGHHHH GOD DAMMIT Enid I can't do this anymore, help me to my crystal ball. I need to call my mother right now
