ENID

What are you talking about

WEDNESDAY

I am a Raven. A seer of dark intent. My visions don't often make sense and can often lead me astray. Last week I had a vision, of which I knew was a premonition. I could feel it was going to happen.

I was in the woods. But a place unrecognisable to me. There was grass beneath trees with folded like a glen. A sight you'd usually see in every shade of green. But it wasn't green. It was blue. The leaves, the tree bark... the grass. Each flower looked bioluminescent, none more so than the lactarius indigo...

Morticia notices the Sinclair's confused faces and interjects

MORTICIA

Those are mushrooms. Milkcaps. Pretty blue ones and they're delious

WEDNESDAY

They were beautiful, it all was. I was a raven, which is how I knew this wasn't an ordinary vision, and why I believed it to be prophetic. The raven was blue. That's when I noticed Enid. Nothing was out of the ordinary, she was just her normal self. Her usual beautiful self.

Morticia smiles at Enid as she blushes. Esther furies her brow,

WEDNESDAY

Except this wasn't usual. At all. When I looked up through the trees I saw the biggest blue moon. She shouldn't have been in human form in that moment. Not at all. But she was. Although, whilst she wasn't a wolf, she also wasn't entirely human either. Her hair looked as though it was made from strands of weaved gold and when I looked into her eyes, the iris were moving on their own, rolling and revolving like a galaxy. And her skin... it glistened like a celestial, a higher being. I fell to my knees, in awe of a Goddess

Enid sits opened mouthed at Wednesday, taking in every word

ENID

Whoa. That's what I looked liked to you? I sound beautiful

WEDNESDAY

You ARE beautiful. Every moment of every day

WEDNESDAY

You pulled me to my feet and you felt warm and then...

Wednesday looks around the room and suddenly feels very insecure. Her mother gives her a nod and Enid rubs her hand gently.

She decides to just address Enid

WEDNESDAY

...the you kissed me

Enid's eyes lock onto Wednesday, she's sure as hell not making eye contact with her mother right now

ENID

And this was on Friday?

Wednesday takes a breath
