3rd Person's POV
The skies were clear, then all of a sudden, a blinding flash lit up the entire school in the blink of an eye. Luer gazed steadily at Lady Anastasia's statue, now weeping scarlet blood.
"Is that real blood?" Luer thought, still trying to recover from the amulet's strike.
Then suddenly, an intense pain pierced Luer's chest, colder than ice and sharper than thorns. She was brought to her knees by how intense the pain she felt.
"Ahh!" she cried out, her fingers squeezing into her chest, desperate to take the pain away.
"Luer! What happened?!" Aaliyah called and ran towards her friend. Her heart felt sorrow with anger when she saw Luer closer, bearing the pain.
Luer let no words out of her lips, her body shaking as she endured the pain in silence. Aaliyah swiftly changed her hand into strong, beetle-like clamps. She grabbed Luer and was getting ready to leave, but then she looked back at the amulet. After a brief hesitation, she decided to grab it as well before hurrying back into campus, carrying Luer and the mysterious amulet.
Aaliyah made it inside the campus and went straight to Professor Aries, she thought they made connection with her already and Luer mentioned a lot of good stuffs about her.
She hurriedly knocked on the door with no hesitation, but there was no response. Frustration got within Aaliyah, but she tried to stay calm for her friend.
"You'll be fine soon; just a little more." she assured Luer with her voice trembling slightly. She banged on the door again, hoping for someone to answer while desperation growing into her in every action.
Finally, the door was opened by Aries.
"It's late afternoon. Respect my time-- Oh god! What happened?!" Aries boasted before letting them in. She prepared her sofa, and Aaliyah laid her friend, who had stopped shivering, however, her veins are somewhat still glowing.
"It happened so fast! Can you please make her feel better before I tell you what happened?" Aaliyah begged Aries in desperate.
Aries understood the anxiety that the girls might have felt so she followed. Her snake hairs grew longer, its eyes glowed, and the majority of them bit Luer's body. Aaliyah was concerned about the procedure, but she trusted her professor on this one.
"Ahhh..! Ouch..." Finally, Luer spoke and reacted to the pain. However, her expression are better than before.
The glow left Luer's body, and one by one, Aries' snakes returned to her, hiding their fangs without leaving a trace. Aaliyah's trust in Professor Aries grew as she saw the remarkable result.
A few moments after, Luer finally felt better. She sat down and thanked both of them whole-heartedly.
"Now young ladies, tell me what happened? Make it quick because me and the other professors are still figuring out what caused that extreme light before." Aries demanded an explanation since she is really worried about her young ones, but soon came into realization. Her curled eyebrows calmed down and her eyes widen as soon as it hit her head.
"Shit. It's you!" She expressed.
Both Aaliyah and Luer became awkward towards Aries as they laugh weirdly.
"Ahaha... Silly me, I guess?" Luer said, avoiding eye contact with Aries.
"Shut up!" Aries said, still quite worried.
"I'm sorry, okay? I didn't know what happened!" Luer apologize, begging Aries to calm down.
"What do you mean you don't know what happened?! You were glowing! Crazy!" Aries shouted, unable to control her anger and anxiousness.
