13: Beacon of Hope

Luer's POV

I feel very drained, my body feel lighter and somehow dissatisfied. I turned around, seeing my friends behind me. Scared? In shock? I don't really know.

"They took the statue, we have to go after them." Words came out of my mouth after a moment of silence.

"Luer, you... are you alright?" Liyah asked as she went towards me, I saw Ember trying to stop her. Maybe they're scared of me, but I don't really have time for that right now. 

"I am safe, please don't avoid me..." I explained to them which put a bright on their faces.

"We need a new plan. They are heading to the southeast, there's a lot of them. The other sinful bands were locked up already." Yeshua mentioned.

"And how'd you know that?" Aaliyah asked him.

He showed us a paper, a note from Agatha to the parasite. The name Tetra is also written, and a small map was drawn in the paper, and a marking lines to which is pointing to the southeast.

We sat down all together to plan things out.

3rd Person's POV

"How are the professors?" Luer questioned the crew.

"They are being treated now. Some are hurt but nobody died." Aaliyah answered.

"Not a lot of students know what is happening, the guards are evacuating them. No Cyclone and Tempest are visible in the area." Yeshua said.

"How come?" Wondered by Wayne.

"Apparently their building was filled with a smoke, something sweet but makes you unconscious." Ember explained.

"Okay, set those things aside first. We have a statue to retrieve." Luer brushed the things off to start the plan. She pulled out a giant leaf nearby and a stone. She started drawing and writing their plan.

"The carriage that carries the statue has 4 horses. 3 black horses and 1 brown. One of its saddle pad is a vibrant purple, we target that. Wayne's ability will be perfect for regrouping and whenever he's being ahead of us. The southeast is known for its rocky road and high mountains, both Liyah and Yeshua can help us get through the barriers. Ember can distract them, even the horses. This can lead them to be getting out of control and stop. Suddenly, I have a vast flowing power in me, I am confident that I can bring more than one enemy." Luer dictated their plan.

"What if there's more than a dozen of people there?" Aaliyah asked Luer.

"There's five of us, and all have amazing abilities. We have to take it back now. They are planning on owning the statue for their own good and for our bad." She replied.

"What if we have some serious damage? We have to bring an emergency kit." Ember said.

"That is why Wayne is useful here. He can reverse the time. Please Wayne, no matter how much you have to turn the time back, do it. If you can't, don't worry we have your back." Luer explained.

Wayne gulped and nodded hesitantly. Yeshua noticed his friend getting nervous but all he could do is look away and pray for the best.

Cassie's POV

"You took way longer than expected." Tetra said while drinking wine. We are traveling now to southeast.

"If you sent someone else out there, we could have made it cleaner and faster. But instead you chose Agatha." I told him, quite annoyed.

"Are you saying that I should have sent you out there?" He asked.
