Calista and I went into the penthouse and changed.

"I'll have to go to my parent's house tonight. We're having an event. They'll pick me up here. Is it okay for you to be alone here?" Calista asked.

"Wait what? You'll leave me?" I frowned.

"Well, I have to," She said. "You'll be okay here. Plus, there's an event in the hall, you can visit that."

"I don't know anyone here nor do I know the person who's holding that event" I whined.

"Aigoo! Just go there. It's free anywaysss"

She started packing and I just watched her, frowning. I didn't want to be alone.

She finished packing and got a call from her mother.

We both went outside, holding her bags.

We went to the car of her mother.

"I'll be back tomorrow. Don't do anything stupid okay?" She said.

"I'm not a kid anymore," I rolled my eyes.

She sighed. "If you need any assistance, go to the lobby. If anything happens, call me or aunty. Okay?"

"Ma'am Yes Ma'am," I mock salute.

She chuckled and then went inside the car and rolled her window open.

She waved goodbye at me.

I waved goodbye back.

I turned around, rubbing my hands on my arms since I felt cold.

I entered the lobby and saw the hall that was holding a party.

I was getting hungry and quite lonely so I decided to just go in there.

I entered and saw lights.

It was a formal party with rich and famous figures.

I wasn't really dressed for the occasion since I was wearing my pajamas.

I really had the audacity to come back to my room and dress up for the party which I wasn't even invited to.

I wore a formal outfit since they were all wearing formal.

I made sure I didn't stand out and wasn't cold either.

I went downstairs and into the party.

As I entered the party, I saw people whom I recognized, and they seem to recognize me back.

"Oh wow, what a surprise to see you, young lady," Uncle, Aunt Merida's brother, said.

"Oh hello uncle," I gave a genuine smile.

"What are you doing here?" He asked.

"Aunty invited me to stay here for my summer break," I said.

"Oh, then that's cool." He said.

"Who's holding this party anyway?" I asked, curious.
