Layla

I woke up from a light that flashed quite brightly.

My eyes opened but closed immediately.

The sun was shining brightly.

I looked at my side and saw the guy sleeping soundly.

I got confused.

Then, I realized what happened.

While looking and admiring the meteor shower, we fell asleep here, I think.

I rolled to my side, admiring the figure's innocent looking face while sleeping,

Layla, you look like a creep. I thought to myself. Snap out of it, idiot.

I sat up immediately, looking at my surroundings trying to get used to the light.

I took my phone and saw the time.

It was six in the morning.

And I was uncomfortable with my dress.

I groaned.

Why did I wake up so early?

I looked back at the sleeping figure and contemplated whether I should wake him up or leave him.

I ended up waking him up.

I shook him gently, trying to wake him up.

He didn't budge.

I wasn't much of a morning person so I lost patience.

"Yah! Wake up dude" I spoke up.

He groaned, turning to his left, making me face his back yet again.

I rolled my eyes.

I shook him again, but this time, with more force.

His eyes shot up.

I chuckled at his confused face.

"What happened?" He asked, yawning.

I was still smiling. "Wake up and go to your room," I said as I stood up.

He groaned again.

He then stood up, folding his arms. He was just standing there.

I folded the blanket and handed it to him.

"Go back to your room and sleep. It's still early." I said as I sleepily walked towards the lobby.

I went upstairs and to the penthouse, taking my keycard from my pocket.

Then, I realized he was following me.

"Why are you following me?" I asked him as I unlocked the door.

"I forgot my keys and my brother is still sleeping. I'm sleepy too." He answered.

"Okay, so why are you following me?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Can I sleep inside your penthouse for a while?" He asked, leaving me confused.

"Thanks," He said, going inside my door without my permission.

My eyes just traced his every move.

He went to the sofa and laid down, going back to sleep.

I slowly entered and went to my room, locking it to ensure my safety.

I tried going back to sleep but to no avail.

I just kept on thinking about him.
