Layla
I turned to him, with widened eyes and tried to take the jacket away from my shoulders.
He showed me a smile, whispered to me about something, and ran like he was in a hurry.
I stared at his fading figure until it fully went away.
Just as he went away, the rain stopped pouring.
I began to walk, going to the penthouse still wondering about the words he whispered.
"Till we meet again,"
What was he talking about? The jacket? Or was he disappearing from this world? Yeah no. I'm probably overthinking too much.
I reached the penthouse and entered, seeing Calista taking pictures of the view from the balcony.
I went to my room and unpacked.
Calista went to my room and stood at the door frame.
"Whose jacket are you wearing? I have never seen that and I know you wouldn't buy something that was twice your size" Calista said, stating about the guy's jacket.
Come to think of it, I never asked him his name.
"Oh, I met a stranger a while ago," I said.
Her facial expression changed.
She smiled sheepishly and said "Oh, then I won't meddle into your relationships"
I rolled my eyes and continued unpacking.
Aunt Merida was my best friend since I was little.
She was always a free-spirited type of person who would always invite me to her adventures...but it stopped.
I wasn't feeling like looking for adventures anymore because of what happened.
Aunt Merida knew that I was affected by what happened and tried to cheer me up little by little, but I was more comfortable alone.
I got used to it and I preferred it.
"Let's go to the beach?" Calista suggested.
"Sure," I replied.
I wore a one-piece swimsuit and a thin, white jacket while Calista wore a two-piece swimsuit. We went outside the penthouse, going to the beach.
We laid down on the two chairs, wearing sunglasses.

We went to the shore and started swimming.
Suddenly, a loud noise was heard.
We both looked in the direction and saw two guys surfing.
The water was quite violent so it was quite impressive.
They went towards the shore and one guy ran a hand through his hair, placing his hair in an organized way as the water fluttered away.
It revealed his forehead.
I recognized him.
It was that guy from the bus stop earlier and dang, he looked fine.
"Dang, he's attractive," I whispered.
"I know right," Calista said.
"We meet again," The guy from the bus stop smiled, looking at our direction.
