Chapter 27✨

Hi you guysss! I'm here with another chapter and I feel this chapter will explain the stuff 🙂🤲 that happened in the last chapter.

Stephano's pov

I let a small smile grace my face as I proudly watched my little Isa take her exam. I was still in the same room as Marcello and Alessandro but we were watching them on a TV screen.
Isa and her group finally reached the position of the bomb and a brunette girl was left to disarm it
I believe her name was Asia Diaz if I'm not mistaken. The daughter of Mr Carlos Diaz, the manager of one of my many weapon production organisations

"BOSS!!" My attention was drawn away from the screen as one of my agents barged in without knocking. My face back to its stone cold character with my eyes in a glare
"You dare come in without knocking?" Alessandro asked with his voice rigid making the man in question shiver a bit while I had to hold back a smirk
"Sorry sir but I believe we have a serious issue on our hands" The agent with his name tag saying Agent Ron

"Talk" I said turning around to face the screen
"Sir the agents in the current exam are not ours" I turned again to meet his eyes
"What do you mean?" I asked raising my left eyebrow in an intimating manner
"We just got information that our agents have been replaced with an unidentified group of people while our agents have been placed in an unknown location"

Ales, Marcello and I glanced at each other worried but it didn't show on our faces
"So you mean-" Marcello didn't get to finish cause he was cut off but Isa's and Asia's screams
"CAYDEN!!!" My head snapped to the screen and I saw Cayden clutching his shoulder with blood steeping out

"Isa" I abruptly stood up from my seat with Ales and Marcello following as I walked out of the room
"Ensure units 1,2,3 and 4 get into the exam venue as quick as possible. Units 5 & 6 are in charge of finding the missing agents" I ordered Ron before I walked out there
"Yes sir" Ron said taking off running in front of us.

"Ales. Marcello" They nodded at me understooding what they needed to do. I continued to walk but stopped when Marcello called my name
"Steph"
"She'll be okay" Ales stated putting his hand on my shoulder with my back towards them
"I hope so" I said shrugging his hand off before I continued walking towards Isa's exam venue while Ales went towards the control room and Marcello went towards the units 5 & 6 to ensure that the agents are gotten back

Once I got to the entrance of Isa's exam, I gave a nod to the agent standing in front of it before walking in.
I sped walked to the room where Isa, Asia and Connor should be but when I entered I only saw Asia and Cayden. Cayden was on the floor with the paramedics attending to him, Asia was standing at the corner watching the others agents apprehend all the people on the floor

I walked towards Asia gently grabbing her by her shoulders
"Are you okay?" She nodded her head mumbling a 'yes sir'
"Where's Isa?" Just then her eyes snapped up as if she just lit a switch on or something
"She ran after the person that shot Cayden" She whispered looking me in the eyes with hers full of fear. I looked at Cayden before turning back to her
"Watch Cayden for me"

I ran out of the room entering the maze shouting Isa's name. I kept on turning in the directions I knew there were no deadends for like two minutes
"ISA!"
"Dad?" My heart literally stopped beating for a moment before I entered a hallway turning right before turning left and I locked eyes with her
"Isa!" I shouted running to her and from my position I could see her tears
"Daddy!" Isa exclaimed starting her own sprint towards me and when the distance was closed enough, she jumped and I effortlessly caught her in a hug. She started sobbing on my shoulder while clutching my suit tight in her fists

"It's okay Isa. I'm here" I said running my hand through her hair which usually calms her down but she started hyperventilating instead.
I laid her on the floor and stared in her eyes
"Shit! Isa I need you to look at me" I said raising my voice slightly but her eyes started closing and I felt my stomach drop
"Isabella don't close your eyes" I said tapping her cheeks gently in hopes to snap her out of it but her eyes closed
"ISA!!"

I picked her up and ran out of the exam venue. I told my agents that I found on the way out that they should go back to apprehend the guy on the floor that Isa caught before continuing my sprint to the infirmary
I laid Isa on one of the beds there and the nurses did not waste time before they inserted an IV in her arm (don't ask why and just go with it) and put an oxygen mask on her face just in case she wakes up and starts panicking again

I held her little hand in mine and brought hers up to my mouth giving it a kiss

Matteo's pov

"That little girl looks familiar" Jayden who was sitting next to me said as he watched the screen showing Bella and her group.
Should we tell him it's his Izzy Orr..?

Mehn we gotta let the boy figure it out himself

I shrugged to myself before I got even more comfortable (if that's even possible) on the couch

The door opened and Dante walked in. I turned to him while Jayden still had his eyes on the screen seemingly watching Bella with an intense stare
"How's Cassie?" I asked him as he sat down on a chair right next to me
"She's good. I'm pretty sure she'll get in"
"Of course she will" I replied before turning my eyes back to the screen just in time to hear Bella scream 'Connor' and the boy having a bullet wound on his shoulder

My eyes snapped to Dante's and we shared a look
"They're not supposed to shoot" I muttered under my breath still looking at Dante before turning to face Jayden who has been watching the interaction

"Something's wrong"
