Diego's pov

After the movie finished, we decided to have a quick bathroom break and also refill our snacks.
And before you guys ask, yes there are both male and female bathrooms on this floor but since my mom is the only female in the house it is mostly unused until we have a family gathering (with my aunts coming over) or if mom or dad throws one of their boring parties.

I looked around the room noticing that Isabella was not to be seen and we would soon resume the movie marathon by watching 'The Maze Runner: Scorch Trials'.
"Hey Sandy" I called out to Cassie who turned back to look at me
"Do you know where Bea is? We're about to start the movie"
"She said that she was going to the bathroom but she's been gone for a while" Cassie said with her voice sounding worried towards the end

I stood up patting her head as I walked behind her
"Don't worry, I'll find her"
I walked out of the room releasing a sigh before turning to the left towards the girls bathroom
Reaching the door, I raised my hand to knock when the door swung open. I looked down a bit to see Skylar glaring up at me

"What do you want?"
"Nothing" I said raising both of my hands up making her raise an eyebrow, her glare intensifying
"I'm looking for Isabella. Is she in there?"
"Nope"

We stood in silence for a few seconds
"Well we're about to start the movie so you should go" I said and she nodded closing the door and walking the opposite direction
"Thanks" She muttered before walking away
"Anytime Skye" I said smirking walking towards the stairs that were right by the bathroom
"Don't call me that" She called back sounding annoyed slightly
"Sure sure"

I walked up to the 3rd floor questioning myself as to why the hell Bea would be up here but I stopped in my tracks seeing light peeking out from under a door.

Isabella's pov

"Huh?"

I looked around the room that had its walls painted white. A kinda huge bed tucked into the left corner of the room. The walls had a few pictures and there was a book shelf next to the bed. Considering how massive this room is there were only a few things in it but there was this nagging feeling in my mind that I've been here before.

My feet moved on it's own towards the shelf stopping in front of it. There were about three dozen books on the shelf but my eyes laid on a photo frame sitting on it.
It showed a young boy laughing while a girl that looked not older than two kissing his cheek. I was so focused on the picture that I didn't hear the door open and I definitely didn't hear the sound of the approaching footsteps

"That's my little sister" I jumped immediately turning around to see Diego. He had a sad smile on his face and I realized that he wasn't looking at me but at the picture behind me. I turned to look at the picture again before turning back to him
"Where is she now?" I asked with my voice becoming smaller than usual
"We don't know. She got kidnapped when she was two... We've been looking for her ever since"

Diego looked so sad while talking about his sister, it made my heart ache seeing him like this. So walked over to him wrapping my arms around his waist in a hug
"Cayden was right" He chuckled patting my head making me to look up at him confused
"Hm?"
"You are short" I gasped pushing out of the hug making my hand to rest on my heart

ow could he!
"I am of average height for my age"
"Mmhmm sure"

I huffed crossing my hands over my chest stomping out of the room back to the theatre room. Diego followed behind me laughing making me smile a bit

3rd person's pov

Before Diego left the room he looked back, his eyes landing on a picture hung up on the wall. Seeing his whole family looking so happy he smiled at it switching off the light and walked out of the room.

Time skip
Isabella's pov

We all stared at the screen shocked with our mouths wide open
"Dude! I told you that I didn't want to watch nonsense! What the heck was that!" Ian hissed glaring at Diego who was still in shock
"How could she?" Jun whispered to herself staring down at her hands
"They trusted her and she just.." Asia stopped mid-sentence staring of into space. Jay put his hand over Asia's giving her sad smile.

Who knew that we could so dramatic over a movie?
"Are you good?" I turned to Asher who was looking at me. His eyes were darting around the room with an amused look on his face
I opened my mouth to reply but was cut off

"That's enough screen time for one day kids. It's almost 7pm" A voice called out. We all turned to see Mrs Bianca standing in the doorway with her hand on her hips
"Mom, when did you get here?" Diego asked confused
I would also like to know that
"You guys have to go home your drivers have been here for almost half an hour now"

"Oh" We chorused before looking at each other and breaking out in a laugh.
"Please tell me that there's a third part" Jun pleaded clasping her hands together looking at Diego
"Don't worry, there is"
I heaved a sigh of relief turning back to Asher to answer his question
"Yeah I'm fine I think"

"No one watches it until our next get together" Groans filled the room as Diego said that
"Are you kidding me?"
"What the heck man!"
"When is the next meet up?"
"We need to know"
"I can't live in the suspense" Cassie (that somehow found herself on the floor) said hugging her knees while rocking back and forth. We (even Mrs Bianca) all looked at her worried

I climbed into the car immediately shuffling over to Dad to give him a hug. I snuggled into him as he chuckled stroking my hair
"How did it go?"
"Sooo good" My words slurred as I started feeling sleepy. I felt Dad kissing the top of my head before I fell asleep
