Isabella had no mom. No dad. She was an orphan. Living in an orphanage. She barely talked to anyone, kept her past to herself and disclosed herself from the world. To everyone she was a girl who never stopped smiling but never spoke.
Strange right...
"For those of you who don't know. This is the Agency for Covert Affairs, Diplomacy, Espionage and Military Yield. It's called The ACADEMY for short"
I tilted my head and looked around the table to see that everyone was giving their Dad undivided attention
"The Academy specialises in secret operations conducted without public knowledge. We gather confidential information through these activities in order to prevent, avoid or stop hostile opponents or adversaries.
We manage international relations and negotiations and often involve subtle strategies and the use of intelligence in order to stop the target. We are conjoined with government to keep not only the United States but the whole world safe.
This is the main headquarters of the Agency but we have bases scattered all over the globe.
So you kids must be wondering why you're here"
Dad paused to look around the table and some nodded confirming his statement while I already had a hunch "You kids ranked top 10 in the evaluation taken last week" Dad carried the tablet that was on the table and typed something on it before sliding up on the screen making the hologram/protection on the table to show our results instead

The mentally squealed when I saw I got 3rd but I kept my face straight and turned my attention back to Dad when he continued talking
"Considering the results, you kids have be chosen to be part of an elite squad that will perform high ranked operations and be required to go undercover to recover information on several occasions" Okay that kinda sorta understandable but pretty nerve-wracking, we're gonna become spies but what are Jayden, Matteo and Dante doing here
"Another thing you must be wondering is why these three are here" Dad said gesturing to Jayden, Matteo and Dante and that made me officially confirm my suspicions that Dad can read minds "So you see, these three form one of our top squads known as Triple Threat" I tried to hide the surprise and shock that showed on my face My brother is soo cool eeekkk... I squealed in my head at the thought before turning back into what Dad was saying
"Each of them can go on individual missions but they mostly execute their operations together These three are also going to part of the squad. They shall act as guides and help you kids know how to operate well as team Although they might still go on missions alone, their permanent placement as of now is with the new squad"
"You kids are to move into the Agency in one week. Accommodations have already been made for you to stay. You moving in is to allow for continuous training and improvement and pretty sure soon enough your squad might become the best in the field"
Dad face had a smirk as his eyes roamed around the table looking at all of us before standing up while fixing his coat "You guys stay in this room until you have to go. I have work to do" Dad walked out with the two people dressed in black walking out after him leaving us in silence
"Soo what now?" Diego piped up beside me and that certainly flicked the switch "We're gonna be spies?" Cassie asked with her eyes sparkling and I turned to Jayden for confirmation "Yes Cassie" Matteo answered but that made Cassie look at Dante maybe for reconfirmation. Dante nodded once making Cassie to squeal under her breath while I looked at her amused
"We gotta do a meet-up so we can get to know each other more since we're gonna be a team and all" Diego suggested shrugging and everyone agreed but I kept quiet as always "Just for formalities sake, I'm Diego" He stated pointing at himself before looking around the table probably expecting everyone else to introduce themselves too but was sadly met with silence "Tough crowd" Diego muttered under his breath and I kinda felt bad but I wasn't gonna say anything
But good ol' Cassie saved the day from silence as always "I'm Cassie and this is Isabella" Cassie introduced me too and I smiled at her gratefully "I'm Cayden" Cayden went next
"I'm Skylar" Then a girl that looked strikingly similar to Asia said
"I'm Jun" Then a dark haired girl
"Ian" A scary looking dude
"I'm Asia" Yeah I know her already
"Diane" She looked like Cassie for some reason. Imma find out later
"Asher" A dark haired boy grumbled out. Hmm he needs a friend like Cassie, that'll be sure to cheer him up
""I'm Matteo" "Dante" "And I'm Jayden" Jayden said finishing up the introductions
"What do you guys think about naming our team the Phantom squad?" Jayden said with a smirk leaning back into seat. I shrugged, Cassie shrugged so I'm pretty sure we all shrugged before Diego commented
"Yeah sounds good"

This chapter was so hard to write 😭💔. It was kinda boring too but I promise it'll get more interesting from here🙃✨.
