Could Be Worse

Hey, everyone. Sorry, I forgot this when I first updated. Anyway, how has everyone been? I know it's been a while, and I'm sorry for that as well. Life gets crazy sometimes. Without further ado, here is the next chapter for your reading pleasure.

Happy Reading        (:

Kyle found himself standing on the track at Chaotic Dynamite, and it had been a week since he had seen Izuku at the dinner party, where he felt that little brat had publicly humiliated him. He kicked up dirt as he thought. That little fucker, who does he think he is ignoring me like that. Running off with that guy, that damn Bakugo. I will not stand for this. No one walks away from me without my permission.

He kicked some more dirt, not realizing he made a decent-sized dent in the track. "You plan on fixing that?" Toshinori's voice hit his ear, bringing him back to reality. Light blue eyes looked up to meet bright blue ones. Kyle smirked at him. "What, that little thing? Sure, if you think it will help your sorry-ass team do better."

Toshinori knew this little shit of a person was trying to bait him, and he was too smart to fall for it. "Maybe you never know that little difference in a track can make or break a run." He said as he made a mental note to tell Aizawa to leave it and have his team get used to the feel of the track with it there. Maybe... just maybe, that dent will break the one that made it.

The blond team owner turned and headed to his office. Without another word, Kyle watched him go.  The redhead was still pissed at Izuku and the situation that he was now on a completely different team. Kyle dislikes that he can't get to Midoriya whenever he wants.

The twenty-two-year-old was becoming more and more angry with every passing minute. He was wasting his day waiting for a chance to encounter Izuku. No, it was Izuku's fault, he decided. Yeah, that little shit was wasting his time once again. He had gotten to the track early and waited; it was now late in the day.

He was lost in thought when he heard, "Hey, Capitan, we are going to run a few laps." Tyler said as he and Power Blitz's newest team member pushed their bikes out on the track. Kyle couldn't stand his new teammate; he was short, obnoxious, and annoying, a constant thorn in his side. The tension between them was thick, but he was up for whatever Kyle wanted, so the team captain put up with him.

Kyle nodded at Tyler and Mineta. "Alright, just watch out for that part of the track." He said as he pointed to the nice-sized dent he made, and then added, "They do a shitty job of track upkeep here."

Tyler saluted him. "Thanks for the tip." Kyle then walked away, his disappointment hanging heavy in the air. He was certain Midoriya would show up at the track. He didn't know that Midoriya and the rest of Chaotic Dynamite were training today, but they were all running tracks at Katsuki Bakugo's house.

-------------------------------

"Hell yeah, that's what I'm talking about." Katsuki hollered as the youngest member of his team came around the last turn. Izuku took the win by more than a minute and twenty seconds. There was a smile on a freckled face as he pulled his helmet off.

Green curls stuck to a fair forehead, as Izuku turned his bike off after getting it off the track. Sero and Kirishima came in next, then Mina followed by Jiro and Kaminari.  "Alright , this was a great run. I think we should do some more training on different tracks. This will give us an advantage, running the same one every time can make you complacent." Katsuki said to his team as they moved their bikes from the track. He continued, "I have four here and we have three outside, and two indoor at Chaotic Dynamite."
