*ALEX'S POV*
I ran into the hospital and saw Vic and others. I was still shaking, and I was trying to calm myself down but it's like calming down a kid who just dropped ice cream and began to cry.
- Vic! - I yell and run up to him
He was in tears, I never saw him crying before.
- Where is she? - I ask him with shakily voice, I was barely standing
- We need to wait here, they'll tell us later.
Tony took my arm and slowly sat me on a chair because I was barely standing. I sat down and tried to calm down, things that happened were just spinning and repeating in my head. Vic was sitting next to me, he was just staring at the floor.
- I'll get you some food, you're really pale now. - Mike got up
- No, it's fine. - I say
I was calm now. Nothing can happen, right? She'll be okay. She must be. Nothing much happened, we were sitting for 2 hours in silence. Like everyone was afraid to tell something. I understand, we're all upset so we don't talk, but our mind is just awful. I was hoping she'll be fine and we'll just continue with our lives. If that doesn't happen, I'll feel horrible and die on the inside. If that doesn't happen, I don't know how should I continue with my life, I didn't even say goodbye to her. All of sudden, the doors opened and nurse came out.
- You are Vic? - tall blonde with waay to much makeup asked and checked papers
- Ye... Yeah, I am. - he gets up
Nurse was still checking her papers what made me really anxious. I was afraid I'll freak out before she tells us what happened.
- Uh oh. It's better if you come in and have a talk with doctor. - she looks at me
She's gone.
I don't want to come in. I really don't want to
I started to shake and breathe heavily, I lost feelings in my legs. I fell backwards and hit the floor.
- Oh dear. - nurse runs at me and picks me up
Vic was holding my hand and we slowly walked in.
- Vic and Alex, right? - doctor asks
We nod our heads.
- I've got something to tell you. - he says
I shook after he said that. I knew something happened, I knew it.
- Ellie got spine and brain injury, she passed away. - doctor said quickly, with heartless voice
I felt tears all over my face, I felt my body shaking. I fell on the ground and cried even harder. I was barely breathing. Knowing that she's gone, I knew that my life will completely change. I won't be able to hug her, kiss her or simply hear her voice no longer. That broke my heart and tore my soul apart. Doctor picked me up, but I couldn't stand. I couldn't breathe no longer, my body just hit the floor.
*VIC'S POV*
Tears ran down my cheeks and I couldn't stop them. We picked up Alex and took her to some room. I looked at the bed, Ellie was there. I turned around, doctor placed Alex next to Ellie.
- I'll tell the others, you stay here. - doctor says and leaves
I come closer and touch Ellie's hand. It was cold and pale just like the rest of her body. I noticed some blood on her head. Her eyes were closed, she won't see me anymore, she won't see anything. I didn't notice that tears were running down my face.
- I'm so sorry. - I whisper and look at her arm
She still had those scars on her wrist. Was it my fault? I called her, she died talking to me. "Yeah?", it was the way she picked up her phone, I still remember it. I gently touch her cold face and notice some tears fell on her face.
- I love you. - I whisper and remove my hand
I couldn't be here no longer, I'll come here later. I walked out wiping my tears and searching for others.
- Vic. - Tony yells and hugs me - I'm so sorry
He was crying just like the others. I didn't know what to do, I just lost Ellie, my daughter. I tried to make her life better, I tried to make her happy. I hope she's happy now, I really hope she is. I didn't want this to happen, I still think this is a nightmare and I can't wake up.
*ALEX'S POV*
I woke up in hospital bed with pain in my head. I looked around and noticed someone in bed next to me. I looked closer and found out that's Ellie. I quickly got up, but I felt dizzy, so I sat down for a moment. After I got better, I walked to her bed. Tears ran down my cheeks, but I didn't mind it. Her face was pale, her whole body was pale. I took her hand and sat next to her. I won't be able to hear her voice or feel safe around her no longer.
- I love you, kitten. - I whisper and kiss her
