I woke up in middle of the night, I had to get up and find a clock, I had no idea when does the school starts. I saw a small switcher behind me and pressed. Soon my room was full of colours, I turned on the tiny lamps Tony already showed me. Next to me was a window so I looked outside. Moon was shining, it was beautiful. I stopped staring at the moon and got out of my room. I needed to find guys, but I had no idea where to go. I was in dark hall, trying to find a switcher. I started to walk again, but my foot touched something on the floor. I was in dark, all alone. My brain started to
be a huge idiot.
What if I stepped on dead body? What if something pulls my leg? What if there's a killer behind me and staring at me while waiting to slit my throat?
I tried to calm down and stopped thinking about things like that.
- Vic! - I yelled
That was the only thing I could do in house I've never been into. Soon I heard the footsteps. I heard them coming from downstairs. Or they had their rooms downstairs, or they weren't sleeping at all.
- I'm here, I'm here. - he turned on the light
- Wait, when does my school starts? - I ask
- At 8 a.m. It's 6 a.m. now. We were awake the whole night so we're going to bed now. Tony is going to stay with you and take you to school.
- Okay, thanks.
Guys came upstairs, and I went downstairs to find Tony. This house was beautiful, I liked it.
- Tony? - I ask while walking through one more unknown hall
I walk in the living room and see him sitting on the couch watching TV.
- Oh, hey Ellie. - he smiles
I wave him and sit next to him.
- Nervous about today? - he asks
- You have no idea how much.
I was really, really scared. I knew that I won't fit in, I actually never did. I wanted to cry how scared was I, but instead I crawled to Tony and sat in his lap while he wrapped his arms around me which made me feel much better.
- You'll be okay, I promise. - he takes my hand
I smile and gently kiss his cheek.
- Okay, I need to get dressed. - I get up and go upstairs
- Wait. - he yells behind me
I turn around and he gives me a phone.
- Take it with you in school. It's Vic's old phone, don't be surprised if you find some weird pictures. - he laughs
I thank him and go to my room. I took my clothes and the phone. Now I needed to find the bathroom. I saw some doors next to my room, so I walked in.
- Bingo. - I say as I walk into the bathroom I've been looking for
I turn on the light and realize that bathroom is really beautiful. I realized I need to shower, I can't go to school like this. I saw some shelf with shampoons and towels. I picked the strawberry shampoo and blue towels. I saw another shelf and took a purple purse. There were mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks and creams. Wow, they really made sure to have everything for me. I was done with showering after 10 minutes and got out wrapped in towel. I brushed my hair and put it in a pony tail. My hair wasn't long, I was too lazy to wash and take care of long hair so I let it be little bit down my shoulders. I put on some clothes I picked yesterday.
- Jesus. - I look myself in the mirror
I looked really disgusting, believe me. I decided to put some eyeliner and some lipgloss. It was impossible for me to put on a little bit of eyeliner, so people would probably say I'm emo (which I'm not) They were always calling me "The emo cousin" because I wore black all the time, I had lots of band merch, it was impossible to see me in a dress.
- That's better. - I look myself in the mirror again
I take the phone Tony gave me and get out. I went to my room and sat on my bed. It was 7 a.m. so I decided to check Vic's phone. First thing I opened was gallery since Tony said I might find some weird pictures. I found some funny selfies of Vic and the guys, but then I found something I wasn't expecting. I ran downstairs and tripped 2 times, and almost hit a wall.
- Tony? - I ask looking at the phone
- Yeah?
- What's this? - I show him the picture
- Oh God, Ellie. - he covers his face with hands - I can explain
On picture I showed him was Vic and another guy I've never seen in my life. Thing that confused me was that they were kissing. I always loved gay people, I mean, they're people just like we are, right? The other guy had black hair, and Vic was sitting in his lap.
- Who is that? - I ask
- That's Vic's boyfriend, we meant to tell you. - he sighs
I had no idea Vic was gay, that kinda surprised me!
- Can I know his name? - I ask curiously
