Friday Spring 5

By Wednesday, I have seem to met everyone so far, just missing a few people. I got a letter mentioning the mines being able to explore so I might do that this weekend. This morning I finished cleaning up the farm and watered my crops. Cleaning the farm didn't take as long as I thought it would.

I grab my backpack and head to Pierre's for some seeds. Walking the dirt trail, I think about the different people I will meet tonight. Everyone is so different and I'm excited to meet everyone else. Everyone is so nice, especially Sam. I've ran into Abigail a lot of the time and she seemed nicer than she was when we first met.

I walk into Pierre's and he greets me as usual. "Hey, Evangeline. My number one costumer!" I smile, looking around the shop. "Hi Pierre. Just picking up some seeds today." I hear heavy footsteps on the other side of the store. Abigail practically busts the door down, "I heard Eva's voice." She says and I just smile with a nod. "Eva! I'm so excited for tonight! Sam told me you have been at his house all week hanging out. I wish you guys would have told me. I could have dragged Sebastian out of that basement." She says walking up to me.

"I don't want to make Sebastian uncomfortable." I say and she shakes her head. "Are you kidding? Robin, Sam, and I have been trying to get that man out of that basement for days. Luckily Friday night hangouts are tradition at this point so he has no choice but to show up." I smile at her. "I am also very excited. You and Sam are so nice to me. Everyone is, except Haley." Abigail rolls her eyes.

"Please, the only good thing about Haley is her not being around." Abigail says making me laugh. "I am going to go plant these seeds and then get ready. It's almost three." I say and Abigail nods. "That reminds me, I need to get ready as well. See you there!" She waves, walking away. I smile and go to pay for my seeds. "Thank you Pierre." I say and he nods. "See you again the saloon tonight." He says and I smile.

I walk back to my farm passing a few of the townsfolk on my way. Back on my farm, I noticed crows trying to get my crops so I throw a rock in that direction to get them away. Hm? I check in my backpack and pull out some fiber, making a scarecrow. I stick it in the ground near my crops and smile. I hoe the ground and place the seeds on the soil. After watering them, I quickly go into my house to shower and get ready.

I get dressed in a pair of high waisted denim skirt, a black button down that I tucked into my skirt, and a blue bandanna I tied around my head. I brush out my hair and bangs, leaving it down. I put on a little bit of makeup before grabbing my bag and leaving my house.

Sam wanted me to meet him at his house and said going through Cindersap Forest would be faster. I follow the trail through the forest before getting to Marnie's Ranch, where her, Shane, and Jas live. Shane is very... secluded to say the least. He was a bit rude the first time I met him but he didn't say anything else to me. Can't help who doesn't want to be helped.

I see Sam standing next to his house and he waves at me. A man with black hair stands next to him. His hair falls over his right eye. He wears a black hoodie and black jeans. "Hi Sam." I greet him. "Hello. I'm Evangeline, you must be Sebastian. I've heard a lot about you." I smile in his direction. He moves the hair out of his face, looking at me. He reveals an eyebrow piercing above his right eye.

"Out of all places you could live, you
chose Pelican Town?" I just look over at Sam who rolls his eyes. "Way to dampen the mood Seb. Come on Eve." Sam grabs my hand and drags me to the Saloon. I look back at Sebastian who sighs heavily and follows behind us. "Don't worry about him. He will warm up soon. He isn't as emo as he looks." Sam says and that makes me smile. We politely wait on Sebastian to catch up with us before we walk into the Saloon.
