Friday Fall 5.

Today is Elliot's birthday. I heard he usually has a bonfire for his birthday but this year he wanted to have his party at the saloon. Everyone is inviting but I'm assuming everyone who is usually at the saloon on Friday nights are going to be there.

I haven't seen Sebastian in a few days. He is working on a big project for his job. We text here and there but we have both been busy these past few days. He said he thanks me for keeping Sam and Abigail busy. Apparently if I wasn't here, he would have never gotten that done because all they did was bother him.

Though I have been busy, that hasn't stopped Sam from bothering me. Abigail has been busy helping her father at his store, getting everything stocked for the fall season. Sam has been helping me since he isn't doing anything these days.

Joja cut his hours due to the fact that the store is slowly going out of business. Everything keeps getting built somehow overnight. First it was the minecarts, then the glittery rock in the mines was opened, and then the bus was repaired. That means I can go to Calico Desert.

Sam is here now, helping me with my work. He waters some of my plants and I water the rest. "So, you and Sebastian?" He finally brings it up after 5 days. "I'm surprised you haven't said anything sooner." I say and he laughs a little. "What's going on with you guys?" He asked and I shrug. "We like each other. We haven't done anything with the information that was given to us both but I feel like we are just going with the flow."

Sam nods his head. "I get it. I'm glad you aren't going to make it weird." "Well, I'm trying my hardest not to." I smile. Sam laughs. "He told me a few days before the Jellies. I told him that I already knew that and so did everyone else. You both were just in deep denial." He drags out the 'e' in deep.

I laugh as we move into the barn. He goes to feed the cows while I give them love. "Well now that neither of us are in denial, where is the 'I told you so'?" I ask him and he shrugs. "I'm not going to rub it into your face that I was right, Eve. I was positive it was going to happen eventually so I had to wait it out." We move to the chicken coop, doing the same thing.

"I appreciate you for not rubbing it in my face. Besides, maybe it's just because we spend so much time together. These feelings possibly aren't even real." I think out loud.

Of course I like Sebastian. He is sweet, thoughtful, extremely attractive, and he cares about me. We always have something to talk about and have things that we both like. But, it could just be the fact that we spend so much time together. I'm not ruling out the fact that I could just have a crush on him, I'm weighing all of my options.

Sam scoffs with a shrug. "Trust me. With the way he talks about you, they are real." Sam quickly slaps his hand over his mouth. I look over at him with squinted eyes. "How does he talk about me?" I asked and Sam scratches the back of his neck with a nervous laugh. "I have said too much." He finishes feeding the chickens and I shake my head as he begins to walk away.

"Tell me!" I yell at him as he begins to run to my house. "No!" He screams back. I run after him and catch up to him, tripping on my own feet. I run into him, causing both of us to hit the ground, face first. "I blame you." I mumbled with my face in the dirt. "Get real." Sam responds. I look up to see a pair of dirty black boots in front of me and Sam.

"How did the ground taste?" Sebastian smirks down at us with a cigarette hanging from his lips. He offers me his hand. "Like cake." I respond, taking his hand to help myself up. I dust myself off before helping Sam off the ground. "Since we are done here, I'm gonna go shower." Sam leaves in a hurry, running for Cindersap Forest.
