CHAPTER 15

Of course, it was a Monday. Perhaps the worst day of the week— But the worse part? It was raining. So you and Tsukasa shared an umbrella walking to Kamiyama. You shared it with Saki too, but she doesn't go to Miyamazusaka so she didn't stay.

Your chest felt warm and fuzzy thinking about seeing Rui again. You knew you were in the love at this point but you hated yourself for it. You hated yourself a lot for it. How would Tsukasa act? Would he hate it? Help you? Support you? Those were all questions you wished you had the answer to.

As the two of you arrived at school, Tsukasa turned to you after closing the umbrella and such. Seeing you switch shoes. "Hey [Y/N]?" He called for you. Half-dazed, you reply with a "What?" in response.

"You've been really out of it recently. Are you okay?" Tsukasa asks. Oh fuck.

You pause. Based on your silence, you knew you couldn't lie out of this. You just decided to be honest, trying to face the thing you probably feared the second most. "N- No, not really."

Tsukasa goes quiet, letting you continue as he changes his shoes. "Can you promise me you won't.. get mad? Or anything...?" You ask, nervous. He could tell this was definitely serious.

"Pinky promise! I don't know what you could do that would make me so upset, honestly." Tsukasa replied. You just grew more worried, because what if he does get mad?

However you just nod, knowing you can't back out now. "Well, the thing is.. I- I..." You froze, trying the murmur the next few words at least but your mouth refused to cooperate.

Were you really that afraid of Tsukasa hating you?

You were surprised you eventually even got the words out.

"I think I might have feelings for Rui, and I don't know what to do..." You spat out quickly, and Tsukasa's eyes slightly widen.

Tsukasa doesn't look too surprised though.

[Flashback]

Tsukasa and Nene were picking up props after their show. Nene randomly blurt something out next to Tsukasa. "I swear to God I feel like [Y/N]'s in love with Rui or something..."

Tsukasa sharply turned his head to Nene. "What?!"

Nene's face went strawberry red. "U-Uhm..." She went quiet, embarrassed. "N- Nothing."

"What— N- No! Why do you think that?" Tsukasa asked, persistent.

"You seriously don't know?" Nene asked. "It's kind of obvious."

Tsukasa's face went red, but in an embarrassed manner. "Y- Yeah sure!" He said sarcastically.

"[Y/N]..." Tsukasa's voice lingers. "W- Well— First of all! I am not mad! Not in the slightest! Second of all... I wanna be surprised, but I'm kind of not."

Your face went red. "Is it obvious?!" You ask flusteredly.

"I mean.. I may be oblivious, but when Nene pointed out the signs to me... It was a little more easy to notice." Tsukasa said. Your face becomes red.

"That's more embarrassing!" You stammer further. You just sigh. "But you're really not mad?"

Tsukasa shakes his head. "Not at all! In fact maybe your twin brother can help you!" You sigh, heading towards and walking up to the stairs. Tsukasa follows you.
