Two months had passed since Fourth arrived in Thailand and joined university. Now in his third year, he found himself busier than ever.
"Fourth, how's your day going? You seem overwhelmed," Tay asked at the breakfast table.
"Yeah, P'Tay. Adjusting here is tough. Plus, I have my thesis and internship coming up in a few months. It's hectic," Fourth explained.
"I understand, Fourth. But take care of yourself," Tay replied, his tone filled with concern.
"Don't worry about me, P'Tay. But what about the baby adoption? You mentioned it a few days ago. Have you changed your minds?" Fourth inquired.
"No, we haven't. We talked to the orphanage, and they asked us to wait a bit. Everything's settled; just some paperwork remains," New replied.
"Great! Hurry up, please. I can't wait to become an uncle," Fourth said excitedly, making Tay and New chuckle.
Yes, Tay and New were going to adopt a baby. They had been married for three years and were high school sweethearts who had dated for seven years before tying the knot. Tay, a well-known business tycoon, faced significant public criticism for their relationship, but he never left New's side. They overcame all challenges together and were now happily married. Despite occasional bashing, they no longer cared. Fourth adored his brother and brother-in-law, always hoping to find a love like theirs, though he doubted his fortune would allow it.
"Hey buddy, what's up?" a boy called out, wrapping an arm around Fourth's shoulder as he entered the campus.
"Still breathing, so I guess I'm okay. What about you, Winny?" Fourth replied. Winny and Matte had become Fourth's friends, sticking with him from the beginning despite his introverted nature. Initially, he tried to avoid them, but their persistence paid off, and now they were close friends. Fourth was grateful, as making friends in a new place was hard for him.
"I'm dying, bro. If I survive this semester, it'll be a miracle," Winny lamented.
"Don't push yourself too hard. You can do it, buddy," Fourth said, patting Winny's shoulder.
"Wow! You care for me! Don't tell me you have feelings for me too?" Winny teased.
"Don't flatter yourself. I won't have time to attend your funeral with this busy schedule. So take care of yourself," Fourth retorted.
"You always stab me in the heart directly. Can't you be more gentle?" Winny said dramatically, clutching his chest.
"Ask your crush to do it."
"Don't underestimate me. I'll do it one day," Winny replied confidently.
"Then go ask him now," Fourth said, spotting the boy.
"Shut up, Fourth," Winny glared at him.
Winny had a crush on one of his juniors and had been following him for the past year. Though famous for being an arrogant senior, Winny never dared to speak to his crush, protecting him indirectly instead. The boy was a simple, nerdy type, always busy with classes and studies, spending most of his time in the library. Winny, now a regular visitor there, had only Matte knowing about his crush until Fourth caught him stealing glances. They had been trying to convince Winny to approach him, but he still couldn't gather the courage.
"Sit like a sloth and let others steal your boy. If I were you, I'd already be his boyfriend," Matte said, slapping Winny's head.
"I've tried, but what if he has a boyfriend or he's straight?"
"Fourth, grab him. I'll kick his ass until he gives up overthinking," Matte said.
"Matte's right, Winny. You should speak to him soon. We'll be graduating in a few months. You're already late," Fourth added. Winny remained silent.
"Okay, we'll be late if we stand here. Let's go," Fourth said, sensing Winny's discomfort.
"Cut. Well done, Gem. The shot was wonderful," said Khun Olen, the director of the current project.
"Thanks. Where's P'Phuwin?" Gemini asked.
"He's in the restroom," a staff member replied.
"Here I am. Why are you looking for me?" Phuwin said, entering the set.
"I miss you, P'," Gemini said.
"Hey, what have you done behind my back that you're showing so much love?" Phuwin asked suspiciously.
"Nothing. Don't you know how much I love you?" Gemini replied in a baby voice.
"Stop buttering me. What do you want? I know you better than you know yourself. Spill it."
"Actually, P', I need to go to the Pentagon this evening for personal reasons. Can you cancel my dinner plan with the shooting team and make some excuses for me? I feel bad saying no directly," Gemini said, giving puppy eyes to melt Phuwin.
"I see, the Pentagon again. What's so special there?" Phuwin asked. Gemini realized he was caught.
In truth, Gemini had been going to the Pentagon regularly ever since he saw Fourth there. He only knew Fourth's name and had tried to find more details but to no avail. Everyone said Fourth came with Green and was a relative, but no one knew more. Despite searching every social platform, Gemini couldn't find his cute boy.
Hearing this, Phuwin was stunned. He never thought Gemini would be serious about a relationship. "You're telling me you're searching for a boy you saw for an hour at the airport and a bar? Sounds like perfect 'Love at First Sight.'" Phuwin patted Gemini's shoulder. "Good luck. I can't wait to meet the person who has the great Gemini Norawit Titicharoenrak so whipped."
"Thanks, P'Phuwin. See you. I need to find him at any cost," Gemini said, winking as he drove away.
(Let's see when our whipped Norawit will meet his Fot🤪🤪🤪)
