You watch as all the Followers along with the ex-bishops turn in for the night once they are all in their tents you follow by going into your own, you lay there hoping for sleep to overcome you, but it never did. Getting frustrated, you decide to leave your tent, looking up at the sky you get a lamenting feeling, the moon is full, with twinkling stars accompanying her, and the feeling of the fresh night air makes you think of the past.
Seeing the tree stump Narinder sits on during the day calls out to you, you sit on the stump and continue to look up at the sky, at first only the sound of crickets and the leaves on trees brushing against each other, then the sound of steps getting close, you look down and see Shamura.
"Hello (Y/N), may I join you?"
"Of course, that's fine".
Shamura made their way beside you and looked up at the sky with you.
"Is there perhaps something lingering in your mind?"
"Is it that obvious?" you let out an awkward chuckle.
"I have lived with four younger siblings, it becomes second nature after a millennium"
You look down at your hooves and begin to kick the grass to give yourself some time to contemplate whether to tell Shamura what stays in your mind.
You take a deep breath and begin to tell them yours and Lambert's story.

(in the past)
You and Lambert are returning home after a busy day out and about in your small village, collecting firewood, trading for essential and nonessential goods, ingredients for supper for later in the evening and much more.
"Mum, we're back!" Lambert calls out, he puts the firewood next to the small stockpile by the fireplace as your dad feeds the flames some of the old wood in the living room. You on the other hand place the ingredients on the kitchen counter to use later on, you then make your way to the living room to join the rest of your family.
"Thank you both" she praises the both of you as she sips on her tea "Now tell me, why did you take so long?" Although your mother's voice is gentle you can feel her annoyance through every word, before you can explain why you two took your time Lambert points to you.
"It's (Y/N) fault!"
"What on earth Lambert?!"
"It's true!"
"No, it's not! If you didn't spend ages trying to convince the stall owner to give you a discount, we would be home on time!"
"That doesn't excuse you from talking to a friend for ages when I was done!"
"You didn't even get a discount in the end, plus you know they never lower their prices!"
As you and Lambert argue your mother pinches both yours and Lambert's ear.
"Now, now my little lambs, what do I say about arguing".
You both look to your father for help.
"You two know better, and so do I, I'm not helping you".
"Thanks a lot, Dad" Lambert whispers.
"Sorry Mum". You both say in unison, she gives a content smile as she lets go of your ears.
"My little lambs are so well behaved" You rub your stinging ears as she claps her paws together, "(Y/N), come help me with supper".
As you help your mother with supper, rain begins to pore down, the patter of the rain is calming making you zone out, and before you know it a delicious stew is ready, after your mother calls for your father and Lambert you all eat together on the wooden dining table. You all talk about your day and plans for the next, that is until there is a knock on the door.
