"Michikatsu san! What the hell happened to you?! Why did you betray me and Yoriichi like this!" You yelled while Kokushibo scoffed and turned to you. "Y/n...don't tell me you actually still think you're better than me?" He stated while glaring at you. "What are you talking about?! I don't think I'm better than anybody! I just thought we were friends...looks like I was wrong!" You yelled while he slashed you which made you bleed. "Friends? You're very delusional, Y/n. I already envied you from the start and you should have seen that coming!"

It looked like there was no hope. Michikatsu is not stronger than you now. He was weaker than you when he was human but now, you couldn't even fight him...How many humans have he even killed? You were about to accept the sweet taste of death until you felt someone carrying you and saving you from the attack. And it was Yoriichi

"Y/n are you okay? Seems like my brother has gotten insane...betraying us like this." Yoriichi looked heartbroken but it didn't stop him from pulling his sword out and facing his brother.

Y/n POV:

Yeah.... I didn't realize how much Michikatsu san envied us until now...It's not a good feeling when you realized when you and your friends are hanging out, they were already jealous of you. It seems tragic but damn in! My mind could only think about the memories!

Some flashbacks...

"We finally defeated the demon, Michikatsu and Yoriichi kun! I can't believe we defeated a demon that claimed to be alive for over 200 years! It must have consumed a lot of humans!" You exclaimed while Yoriichi chuckled. "Y/n san, you seem to be overjoyed by killing that demon." Yoriichi said while Michikatsu nodded.

"I just think demons are very disgusting creatures...seems like that guy lived for over 200 years." he mumbled while you nodded. "Isn't that good, brother? We and Y/n should eat dinner at a restaurant tonight!" Yoriichi suggested but Michikatsu didn't really approve of that. "I don't know...I'm kind of tired and I want to rest." Michikatsu stated while both of you sighed. "Alright, we'll head home but do you mind if I stay with you guys for the night?" You asked them.

Y: "Sure, Y/n! We'll clear out a room for you!"

M: "I don't really mind but why...?"

Y/n: "Well, I've been feeling quite lonely and I want to spend time with you guys."

Y: "Alright, Y/n! Let's go!"

M: "Mmm...it's getting late....

You then went home with the twins. You were just sitting outside but then you heard the twins open the door and you were startled.

"Hey, I didn't realize you were still up, Y/n. is there something wrong?" Yoriichi asked while You shook your head. "I was just thinking about something and I couldn't sleep anyway." You replied to him. "Are you sure? Or you're just thinking of random things." Michikatsu asked. "Uhh...you caught me...I was just thinking about our friendship. What if there's something that ruins it." You stated while Yoriichi shook his head. "No, I'm sure there's nothing in this world that will ruin it. Not even money..."

Well...I guess back to the present now? Everything that I hoped to not come true, came true. My best friend turned into a demon because of jealousy. All I can see is Yoriichi trying to fight off Kokushibo...You know what, I think I'm blacking out...

Hours later, Yoriichi told you how Kokushibo escaped from his grasp. You knew that he hesitated to kill him so you just played along with it but in reality, you're just upset at what happened.
