"Yes Tanjiro, I miss her even to this day and if you don't mind, can you leave me alone?" Giyu then walked away from Tanjiro. He didn't want to talk to anybody because this day was the day...you died...
Giyu POV:
The amount of regret and self harm I did on this day to honor the death of Y/n was a lot. I often blamed myself why she died because I wasn't strong enough that day of the final selection. She and Sabito sacrificed their lives to save me and also Sabito, her brother. I was so weak to the point that 2 of them had to sacrifice their life for me?
Finally, Giyu reached your grave and placed your favorite flowers on it. He then started talking to you through your grave. He knew you could hear him in heaven but of course y'all ain't going to heaven :)
Some flashbacks...
"What do you mean, Giyu! You can't think of suicidal thoughts now! How about your sister? What would she think if she knew you killed yourself! Her sacrificing her life was a waste if you don't keep living!" You yelled while Giyu stared at you with wide eyes. "I guess I never really thought about that..." He looked down, thinking about what he said. "Exactly! You should train hard and impress your sister! Kill muzan and avenge her. I'm sure that will make her happy." You exclaimed while stepping on a rock. Which made Giyu blush and smile.
-"But how can I? I'm weak and fragile...I can't defeat Muzan with this body. Someone else has to do it."
-"What are you talking about? You just have to train hard and you'll achieve your dream strength!"
-"That's easy for you to say, Y/n...you and sabito are really strong and have nothing to worry about."
-"Hey...just because me and Sabito are strong, it doesn't mean you should down yourself."
Giyu sighed. He then laid on the grass which made you raise a brow. "Is there something wrong, Giyu?" You asked while he sighed. "Well, just comparing myself with you two has got me thinking...why haven't I trained enough? I know that you and Sabito will make it through final selections." Giyu stated but then you pinned him to the log. "If you think that you're not gonna make it out alive, I'll sacrifice everything to protect you. Even my own life." You said while Giyu looked at you and blushed.
"Hey, hey, hey, what are y'all talking about?" Sabito exclaimed while sitting beside Y/n. "I was just talking about how I would sacrifice my life for Giyu!" You exclaimed while Sabito gave you the side eye. "Ohh~ are you crushing on Giyu now, huh?" He nudged you while your face turned red. "Huh?! I'm just looking out for him as a friend! Is there something wrong with that?" You exclaimed while hitting your brother's shoulder.
Giyu POV:
"Yes, those were the happiest moments of my life. I always thought Y/n was very beautiful and I never knew thatI liked her until she confessed to me under the moonlight. I promised her that I was gonna protect her that night. We even told Sabito that we were dating and he was laughing and teasing us so hard that he knew it. Y/n was mad at his brother's teasing but I didn't really mind
But then, the day where the final selection came...
"Y/NNN!!!" Giyu screamed as he held your now injured body. "WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU DO THAT?! WHY DID YOU JUMP IN FRONT OF ME? I COULD HAVE TOOK IT..." Giyu yelled while you touched his face. "Didn't...I tell you...? I said I'd protect you until the end...So, make sure to defeat... Kibutsuji for me, okay...?" You said in a weakened voice as Giyu started to cry. He tried to call Sabito but was shocked to see Sabito was also dead. "Y/n...please stay with me..." He muttered but then he watched as you were down to your last breath. "I promise...I'll kill Kibutsuji for you. I'll avenge my brother, Sabito and you. Just so you wait, Kibutsuji...I'll make you pay for what you did to Y/n
Giyu POV:
It's coming, my love. The other hashiras are already planning a scheme to end Muzan for good. I'm gonna avenge you and all the people he killed for the past 1000 years. Once I meet Muzan, I'm gonna kill him and I don't care if it takes my life. Besides, I want to reunite with you in heaven.
He then placed your favorite flowers at your grave and sighed. "Wish me luck...My love. I love you..."
